Title: E-Bike Craze in Zurich WORD COUNT: 307 STATEMENT: E-bikes are a solution for most of traffic issues in Zurich and it seems people there like them to, probably because they do not require a lot of pedaling so you wont get either sweaty nor smelly. Content Body: Busy traffic is reality in most big cities all over the world causing pollution, accidents and stress. Local governments usually suggest people to use public transport or bicycles but that change is not easy to accomplish. Riding a bike is not an easy activity, it requires pedaling which makes you perspiring, so you have to spend whole day in office sweaty and smelly. You can also get hit by a car and it is not easy to carry any heavy loads such as backpacks or groceries. Well, people in Zurich have found a solution for most of these issues and the solution is called e-bike. This is a third millennium vehicle that will bring a revolution on the streets of big cities. E-bike has an electric motor that helps you as you pedal along, making it easier to get up to speed and maintain it. There are already some ten million of these bikes on the streets in China but now they are becoming popular in Europe too. Zurich is leading this new trend in Europe, especially when it comes to high-performance e-bikes which can go over 50mph. They are very convenient for city traffic and some researches say that pedaling makes you happy, because your body releases chemicals called endorphins. Although there are still many conservatives who believe e-bike is not a real bike, young and old, male and female can all be seen using them on the streets of Zurich, so it seems technology is winning this dispute. E-bikes have only one big minus – they are quite expensive. On average, an e-bike in Europe will set you back about $2.700 and if you want a high-performance bike you will have to pay around $38.000. Nevertheless, e- bikes are the hottest new trend in Zurich so it seems people here don’t have serious money issues. Meta Description: Riding a bicycle is getting a totally new meaning with e- bikes!
