Thank you for invitation of organizing committee. It is my pleasure to come to picturesque Chengdu, attend this meeting and share some opinions with you about China’s Smart Tourism Destination.

非常感谢主办方特别是浙江卓锐科技的邀请，来到美丽的天府之国——成都，参加世界旅游互联网大会，和大家一起探讨中国智慧旅游目的地这个话题。

In current society, tourism industry is changing from resort-oriented to city-oriented. Tourists are more willing to stop, stay or live in the tourism city, which requires more in food, hotel, transportation, travel, shopping, and amusement.

大众旅游时代，旅游业正在由“景点游”走向“以城市为目的地的全域游”，游客更希望停下来、留下来、住下来，这对“食住行游购娱”旅游六要素供给提出更高的要求。

I. The mainstream to apply Internet 一、旅游目的地拥抱互联网是大势所趋

Tourism plus Internet, is a must for upgrading of tourism industry. “旅游+互联网”是多维度、深层次、全方位的融合发展，是旅游业转型升级的必由之路。

Marketing and promotion 旅游目的地营销推广

I. The mainstream to apply Internet 一、旅游目的地拥抱互联网是大势所趋

Yangzhou is among 1st series of smart tourism trial cities, and also one of the cities which first put forward the development plan of Smart Tourism.

扬州是中国第一批智慧旅游试点城市，也是国内最早提出智慧旅游发展计划的城市之一。

II. Yangzhou exploration in building smart tourism destination 二、扬州打造智慧旅游目的地的探索和思考

The Web is Yangzhou Tourism website. It includes official, informative and English content and provides tourists online convenience concerning trip planning, hotel booking, ticket buying, and transportation choosing.

“一张网”就是扬州旅游网。集政务网、资讯网和英文网于一体的扬州旅游网，便于游客在线实现旅游路线规划、酒店预订、门票购买、交通选择。

Yangzhou Tourism Bureau has over 2,000,000 weibo fans, and its Wechat account ranks Top 10 of national tourism official new media.

扬州旅游官方微博粉丝量超200万，官方微信居全国旅游政务新媒体排行榜前10名。

The Center is Tourist Smart Service Center. The Center is Tourist Smart Service Center. Tourists could search information, book hotels, and buy souvenirs, on the e-platform.

“一座房”就是游客智慧服务中心。游客可以通过电子平台轻松检索信息咨询、线路报名、订房订餐、安全救助、投诉受理、文化体验、旅游商品、免费WIFI、红十字救助等服务内容。

The Card is Yangzhou Tourism Leisure Card. Tourists could have such card and easily handle resort ticket, shopping, and so on.

“一张卡”就是扬州旅游休闲卡。面向全球发行了多功能扬州旅游休闲卡，不限户籍、国籍，游客通过手机就可办理，既可以办云端存储，也可以办集景点门票、刷卡消费等多种功能于一体的实体卡。

The number is Hotline 12345. With a smart tourism cloud platform, answers and complaints from tourists could be in time solved.

“一个号”就是12345热线号码。把旅游咨询投诉热线与12345政府服务热线合二为一，通过智慧旅游云平台及时回答游客问题，快速反馈游客投诉。

The Cell Phone is for tourists traveling in Yangzhou. With navigation, guide, promotion, tourists can experience easier and happier travel.

“一部手机”就是“首游”扬州手机。在国内首创 “首游扬州”项目，来扬游客可从入住酒店免费领取一部导航、导览、导购等多功能合一的智能手机，将扬州的“吃住行游购娱”一网打尽。

Five elements are each in their micro circulation and relatively mature, but isolated to some degree. We sincerely expect exploration and cooperation with present global top smart tourism organization and enterprises.

“五个一”已各自形成微循环，但从“一门户、一站式”服务的角度来看，我们感到如果能将“五个一”整合到一个平台进行集群、融合、分享，避免五个信息“孤岛”，这是我们下一步需要努力改善和提升的。

Regarding how to integrate world canal city tourism with Internet, the first step could be building world ancient towns along canal as smart tourism destination.

如能让世界运河城市旅游联接互联网，从操作上可先从打造世界运河城市的古镇智慧旅游目的地开始。

III. Ancient towns along canal as smart tourism destination 三、将世界运河古镇打造成智慧旅游目的地

The Grand Canal is precious heritage of Chinese national culture, as well as international language and cultural symbol in the dialogue with the world. It is cultural bond of Belt and Road Initiative, Coordinated development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region and Yangtze River Economic Belt.

大运河是中华民族文化的宝贵遗产，是与世界对话的“国际语言”和“文化符号”，是实施“一带一路”倡议、推进京津冀协同发展和长江经济带两个国家战略的文化纽带。

Cities along canal, are mostly historic and cultural, also tourist cities. Founded in 2009 with its secretariat in Yangzhou, World Historic and Cultural Canal Cities Cooperation Organization (WCCO) is a platform and link for canal cities communication and cooperation.

有运河的城市是有历史的城市、有文化的城市，也大都是旅游城市。成立于2009年，秘书处设在中国扬州的世界运河历史文化城市合作组织（WCCO）是运河城市交流合作的平台和纽带。

III. Ancient towns along canal as smart tourism destination 三、将世界运河古镇打造成智慧旅游目的地

On Sep 8-9 of 2017, WCCO held the 10th World Canal Cities Forum, gathering guests from home and abroad in Yangzhou to discuss Opportunities for Canal Cities under Belt and Road Initiative, and to promote construction of the China Grand Canal Culture Belt.

今年9月8日—9日，WCCO举办第十次世界运河城市论坛，中外嘉宾会聚扬州，共同探讨“运河城市在‘一带一路’合作中的新机遇”，共商共议推进大运河文化带建设。

Ancient towns along canal is the rich mine of tourism industry, with great potential. Given smart tourism concept, with the link of Internet, the aim to build ancient cities (towns) to smart tourism destination will be greatly enhanced.

运河古镇是旅游业发展的“富矿”，其潜力巨大，如果在其中植入智慧旅游的元素，用互联网将他们连在一起，将极大推动国际运河城市（古镇）智慧旅游目的地的打造。

Yangzhou is a historic and cultural city, as well as a famous tourism destination with abundant resources and fine service. We sincerely hope that WTO, relevant organizations and enterprises could pay further attention to Yangzhou and enhance pragmatic cooperation with WCCO.

扬州是一座历史文化名城，更是一座旅游名城，拥有丰富的旅游资源和完善的配套服务。我们期待世界旅游组织和相关机构、企业进一步关注扬州，增进与WCCO的务实合作。
