The charities has embarked 295 years of historical service towards humanity.The Committee of Management believes in motivating the student community by inculcating valuesystem in them, through 3P's i.e PERSEVERANGE, PERFORMANCE AND PROGRESS andalso believes in the lndian culture and tradition. The Institution has 16 successful years ofexperience in the field of education.
The lnstitution offers I UG and 4 PG courses and is affiliated to the University of Madras.The curriculum is formulated and framed by the University (CBCS pattern -Choice Based CreditSystem) to enhance and enrich students' knowledge in different disciplines. To reach people atglobal level, the institution provides an opportunity for students to download application through theinstitution website.
The institution follows a systematic admission procedure based on the university norms andGovernment quota system. The meritorious students are given spot admission. Bridge courses areoffered by the departments specifically to provide exposure and orient the students in the first yearon the basics of the subject they have chosen, especially on the new subjects like Psychology,Sociology and lnterior Design & D6cor. Academics play a vital role, where a systematic lesson planis furnished and an organized way of delivering the concepts is functional and monitored throughregular tests and model exams. Various techniques like role play, group discussions, regularassignments, seminars, peer learning are used to enhance the learning process. The classes arewell furnished with appropriate amenities. This institution has a pattern of ONLINE LECTURENOTES (OLN) to help the students to reach out the lecture notes anytime, anywhere via thewebsite. The institution also has remedial measures to cater to the needs of the students andfacilitate them to improvise academically by conducting regularspecial classes afterworking hoursand the same is monitored. Student mentorsystem plays a significant role in dealing with the overalldevelopment of the student community. The institution has a feedback format to collect data fromthe students and also from the parents to assess the teaching fraternity and the overall system.Regular parent teacher meeting is held to intimate to the wards' progress.
There are exclusive ICT facilities with applications like Wl-Fl, Smart class room, computerlabs, language lab, use of lap top in classes.
The Iibrary is Automized & digitized with I N FLt B N ET facility.
The institution has hygienic rest rooms and sanitary napkin vending machine.
To instilla sense of accountability, humbleness, strength of mind, modesty, commitmentandinsight of service among the students, they are engaged in various clubs like National ServiceScheme (NSS), Red Ribbon Club (RRC), Youth Red Cross (YRC), Rotaract, Citizen ConsumerClub (CCC), Eco Club, and Karuna CIub.
There are various redressal units like Grievance Cell, Anti Ragging Committee, andCounseling Cellto attend to the issues related to students'emotional stress.
Placement Consortium is the backbone of the institution where skill developmentprogrammes are organized and HR from various companies conducts "on campus" recruitment forselecting the students.
