Prof.dr Adany Roza presented activities of the University of Debrecen, Hungary, highlighting their experience in: (i) education at different levels, from bachelor to PhD programs; (ii) research projects, and (iii) participation in different bodies and associations at national, EU and global level (e.g. leader of Budapest Public health program; WHO Collaborating Centre on Vulnerability and Health, etc.). 2. Introductory-Zero Training for Capacity Building trainings in WP2- Part I EU partner universities, University of Debrecen and University of Heidelberg made extensive presentations of their activities in multidisciplinary fields of public health and medical informatics, with special focus on education and research.

1. Prof.dr Adany Roza presented activities of the University of Debrecen, Hungary, highlighting their experience in: (i) education at different levels, from bachelor to PhD programs; (ii) research projects, and (iii) participation in different bodies and associations at national, EU and global level (e.g. leader of Budapest Public health program; WHO Collaborating Centre on Vulnerability and Health, etc.).

- education at different levels, from bachelor to PhD programs at different departments (Department of Nursing Sciences and Gerontology; Department of Public Health, Health Service Research and HTA; Department of Biomedical Computer Science and Mechatronics; Department of Psychology and Medical Sciences);

- research and on-going projects at the Institute of Medical Informatics, in the following areas: (1) Evidence-Based Health Informatics; (2) Health IT for Patient Safety; (3) Health and Clinical Data Sciences; (4) Learning analytics; and (5) Systematic IT Management.
