Important: Do not have mower running over any surface except grass you intend to cut. 1) Identify the direction the yard was mowed last time 2) Determine mowing direction The direction should progress through 4 different directions: at an angle to the left, to the right, with the building, at the building. 3) Pick up all debris from turf 4) Mow two passes around the perimeter of the turf 5) Determine a corner to start in Starting in a corner rather than the middle of the turf keeps you from doing half then walking back to the middle to mow the other half. 6) Position your mower in the direction you wish to mow 7) Select a point directly in front of you 8) Mow directly toward that point to the edge of the turf Mow all the way to the edge of the turf not just to the perimeter passes 9) Turn the mower One set of tires should be on the outside line of the last pass with the other set toward the uncut turf. Do not turn on side walks or driveways. 10) Verify that previous pass was straight. If necessary make an adjustment to the position of the mower to ensure the next pass will be straight 11) Repeat 7 through 10 until entire turf is mowed.
