PLATFORM: INNOVATIVE ASPECTS From 2011, all the Departmental Control Rooms have been fitted with the system called R.M.T. (Road Management Tool) which allows Operators the complete knowledge of the situation on the roads, especially through the transmission of real-time images from the cameras installed in more than 1000 vehicles used by Anas all equipped with GPS system. - Creation and management of all the events that involved the roads network through an intuitive interface with the possibility of insertion of resources such as images and video in the «event file». - Real-time view of the event/critical situation by the Control Room and quick diffusion of news through the media and social netwotks channels. - View in real-time way of images from the on-board cameras installed on more than 1000 ANAS S.p.A. vehicles with the possibility to associate images and videos at an event in progress, downloading them in real time. - Management and monitoring of vehicles fleet through the geo referenced map with precise GPS location and ability to export tracks in accordance with the privacy policy. Operators can locate the vehicles, graphically identifying the routes for the various missions and operations and follow in real time their movements in the areas of emergency. - Possibility to monitor SCADA systems installed in the tunnels, manage real-time communications to end users through Variable Message Panels, view the fixed cameras placed in strategic locations and particularly affected by heavy traffic flows or specific weather conditions. - Data management: graphics processing relating to the study on accidents and monitoring of traffic flows through a system of detectors directly related to the RMT platform itself. - Management and coordination of external and internal In order to ensure proper management of info-mobility informations and critical events that occur on the 25.000 km. roads infrastructure, the Company has created 20 Departmental Control Rooms each of one located in an Italian region and a National Control Room based in Rome. The Control Rooms are active 24/24h, 7 days on 7 with specialized Operators rotating in shifts. The necessity to be able to quickly handle the flow of communication and information that is generated during a critical event, has led the Company to focus on a solution that would allow an immediate reception of the event in progress and the ability to manage it from opening to its conclusion having track over time.
