Bell Ringer
1. Happy solar eclipse day! Take out your planner and open it to today’s
date. Before the bell rings is the time to sharpen pencils.
2. Turn in supplies to the bins and any assignments to the class inbox.
3. If you didn’t finish the Achieve 3000 Level Set last class, get your
assigned computer. (The clipboard on top of the cart is available for
your reference.) Login and begin working on the Level Set. You must
answer the questions using nothing but your own knowledge.
4. Two students not taking the Level Set need to get the comp. books
and gently place them on your classmates’ desks.
5. Students who have finished the Level Set, sit quietly and wait for
further directions.

The One Rule for the Comp. Book
1. Never rip pages out of your comp. book.

5. Never rip pages out of your comp. book.
6. The pages are sewn into the binding. Each time you
rip a piece of paper from the comp. book, the thread
is weakened and the book will fall apart.

First Entry: Directions
On the first page, after the last table of Contents page, write
‘Personal Vocab. Dictionary’ across the top of the page.
Write a letter “A” on the first line. It should NOT take up more
than the first line as you will need space to add unfamiliar vocab.

Repeat these steps for all the letters in the alphabet. Letters “X,
Y, and Z” may share a page.
Number your pages (starting with this entry) in the top, or bottom
OUTER corner. You’re responsible for keeping up with the
