Courage is the most important of all the virtues, because without courage you can’t practice any other virtue consistently. You can practice any virtue erratically, but nothing consistently without courage.

Our YW AMP Leadership© Program will give self-identified high school girls the opportunity to amplify their own voices and the voices of those from their community to effectively make change in New York City. You will have the opportunity to explore your leadership style, develop skills to have productive dialogues with peers, and strategies to implement change in your respective community. The network and community that you will build is essential to the work that still needs to be done and will get done, by girls and for girls, in this city. We look forward to seeing you at one of the open houses and hope that you will apply to be a YW AMP Leader this school year! Best, Dr. Danielle Moss Lee Chief Executive Officer of the YWCA of the City of New York
