Our mission in citizenship is to “To enable teachers, students, educational institutions and communities throughout the world to realize their full potential” or to make it lighter “Developing Human Potential”

Current Political & Economic ClimateCurrent Political & Economic Climate
• Diversified region in terms of political stability, economies and income per capita. It ranges from new emerging countries in the rebuilding phase like Iraq to more developed countries like Jordan
• Population is mostly under the age of 25• The Political and Security Instability continues to weigh heavily on
the economies in Lebanon, with more acceptance of our citizenship programs
• Our Citizenship Focus in FY08 is around Education, youth skills and job creation

* Software Donation for 13 Community Technology Learning Centers * 6 000 citizens in North of Lebanon with full access to Microsoft
Digital Literacy Curriculum available in English, Arabic and French * Windows Live ID for each community member
• Establishment of a Microsoft Community Center in a “Prison in Tripoli “
* Software and UP Curriculum Donation for 500 Prisoners•“PICTA” Project:
*has 9 centers to date across Lebanon and delivers free PC Literacy courses and training to underprivileged communities. The first 8 academies delivered ICT training to 400 students during the initial six-month phase .
