Railway Workshop is synonymous with the foundation of the surrounding Sentul township, which began life as a humble and hardworking railway community. By the time it ceased operations at the turn of the century, Sentul Depot had provided continuous employment for three generations of Sentul residents – from those who built British railway lines at the apex of the empire, to those who helped build an integrated network for modern Malaysia.

“Sentul Depot is more than just an icon of the past, it is an

Children were not left out of the equation, with an inflatable playground and a miniature driving town set up within the premises for their entertainment.

Abuzz with lively entertainment, Hungry for Adventure also featured a freestyle rap and DJ battle, while the entire event came to a grand finale at Sentul Depot’s main warehouse area, which provided a unique setting for a Craig David concert.

Sentul Depot demonstrated its calibre as a major lifestyle venue over the March 22 – 24 weekend, hosting a full-capacity event that featured test drives, outdoor adventure activities and even a music concert by a major international star.

The venue was completely transformed into an electrifying adventure zone for the Mercedes-Benz “Hungry for Adventure Festival”. The festival invited the public to engage in a host of activities which Sentul Depot easily accommodated, including a showcase of the carmaker’s latest range of SUVs as well as adrenaline-pumping events such as reverse bungee jumping, flying fox, rock climbing as well as a virtual cycling challenge dubbed Cycology.
