Youth "A" European Championships

Dear Friends, The Czech Modern Pentathlon Association in cooperation with ASC Dukla Praha has the pleasure of inviting a delegation of your country to participate in the Youth "A" (Under19) European Championships that will be held in Prague, from 9 July to 14 July 2015, according to provisional schedule below: 8.7. Arrival of Delegations 20:00 Technical Meeting - Women´s Qualification 9.7. Women´s Qualification competition 20:00 Technical Meeting - Men´s Qualification 10.7. Men´s Qualification competition 20:00 Technical Meeting - Women´s Final 11.7. Women´s Individual Final 20:00 Technical Meeting - Men´s Final 12.7. Men´s Individual Final 20:00 Technical Meeting - Women´s Relay (2 athletes) 13.7. Women´s Relay 20:00 Technical Meeting - MIX Relay and Men´s Relay (2 athletes) 14.7. MIX Relay and Men´s Relay 15.7. Departure of Delegation RULES The competition will be carried out according to the current UIPM Rules. Swimming: 25 m indoor swimming pool / 6 lanes (Juliska) Fencing: 9+1 pistes, (Juliska) Combined Event: 36+4 precision laser targets (PLT-Apeom); tartan surface (Juliska)
FINANCIAL CONDITIONS All delegation members (including athletes, coaches and officials) will be charged as follows: Accommodation per person per night: Single room: 110€ Double room: 90 € (min. 270 €/person as total amount) All participants will be accommodated at Diplomat Hotel Prague. The price includes full board accommodation, local transportation, Airport/Railway transportation and entry to the competition. DEADLINES The UIPM Online registration system is obligatory. The online system will be open from 20th of April 2015. All information must be submitted, including flight information, pistol serial numbers, accommodation bookings, etc. by 15 June 2015. Any changes after this must be sent by email to the organiser. Following closure of the registration system on 15 June 2015, a NF must enter the competition with the confirmed number of athletes and officials, only names of participants could be subject to change. Any failure to take part after having sent their final entries will pay a fine of 600 EUR to the UIPM. We would appreciate early confirmation of your intention to participate or not and submit this by email (Form A) before 05 May 2015. Deadlines are as follows: Participation Confirmation before 05 May 2015 Closure of Registration 15 June 2015 Deadline to send 30% deposit 15 June 2015 FULL PAYMENT upon arrival. No. of the Account: 215541701/0600 IBAN code: CZ5806000000000215541701 Nations wishing to arrange their own accommodation must pay €240 for European Youth A Championships accreditation fee per participant which is to be sent by bank transfer by 15 June2015. This amount includes, lunch packets for the competition days and access to official transportation between the Diplomat hotel and competition sites. TRANSPORT Transportation from the nearest airport (or railway station) to the official hotel and the return journey is only guaranteed if arrival information is provided in good time – by 15 June 2015. Transportation from the official hotel to the venue for athletes will be according to the competition programme.
INSURANCE and ATHLETES’ LICENSES Athletes are only allowed to participate in UIPM sanctioned events if they are in possession of a valid UIPM issued Athletes License. According to UIPM Rules all members of attending delegations should insure themselves in case of accidental injury or illness. The organizer will not accept any responsibility financial or other, for any loss, injury or illness of any member of the delegation. EQUIPMENT CONTROL Fencing equipment control will take place on the piste before the start of the first bout. Pistol check will generally take place at competition site and starts 120 minutes before CE starts. VISAS & VACCINATIONS The LOC cannot accept responsibility for arranging visas but can provide specific letters of invitation if needed. For information if you need a visa or vaccinations please contact your nearest Embassy or Consulate. GENERAL INFORMATION All athletes are kindly requested to wear their official national uniform at the competition. Please, also bring a CD of your national anthem and a national flag! Please, contact directly the LOC to request accommodation for family and friends wishing to attend the competition.
