    DIDYOUKNOW?

With identity theft oneveryones minds thesedays, its not hard to seewhy eStatements aresomething you mighthesitate to sign up for.

However, its easier fora thief to get their handson your paper state-ments than your eState-ments.

Your paper statementscan be lost, stolen, orsomehow accessed in

a way that your e-statements cannot. Whenyoure ready to dump them, paper statementsshould be shredded. eStatements, on the otherhand, really cant be accessed by anyonewho doesnt have access to your account.

Shredding is not a problem. Add in the easeof accessing them when you want to reviewor look something up, and youre better offwith electronically delivered statements thana paper copy that could end up in the wronhands.

Thanks to OECUs eStatements you no longehave to wait for your statements to arrive bymail. You receive an email letting you knowyour statement is ready to view. Its easy, yousimply log into eBranch and view your state-ment.
