BY FRANCIS DRAKE

What kind of day will tomorrow be? To find out what the stars say, read the fore-cast given for your birth sign.

because they will easily arise — espe-cially with a female relative. People aretouchy, emotional and volatile. You havebeen warned.

TAURUS(April 20 to May 20)This is a classic day for arguments

with others, especially siblings, relativesand neighbors. This angry energy mightcause you to have an accident. Be care-ful.

GEMINI(May 21 to June 20)Disputes about money and posses-

sions are likely today. They could relateto something at home or to a female rel-ative. Either way, tread carefully.

CANCER(June 21 to July 22)Today the Moon is in your sign, which

makes you more emotional than usual. On top of that, it is at odds with fieryMars. This is a challenging day! Remaincalm so to avoid disputes with others.

LEO(July 23 to Aug. 22)This is a restless day. There’s no doubt

that you feel impatient with others. Youmight not speak up, but inside you aresecretly gritting your teeth. Easy does it.

VIRGO(Aug. 23 to Sept. 22)People are quarrelsome today. When

talking to a friend or perhaps a memberof a group, you must tread carefully.Don’t go looking for trouble, because itwill find you.

tics, religion and racial issues today, because things will go south in a NewYork minute. Don’t try to win or keepscore. Just keep the peace.

SAGITTARIUS(Nov. 22 to Dec. 21)Choose another day to discuss how to

divide an inheritance or share somethingwith someone, because a discussion willquickly deteriorate into an argument.Wait until Thursday.

when dealing with others, because this isa dicey day. Frankly, things are not goingyour way. Just tread water.

tomers today, especially female acquain-tances. Don’t get your belly in a rash.

their kids today. Likewise, romanticpartners must be patient with each other, because it’s a quarrelsome day! Easydoes it.

A new nine-year cycle is beginningfor you. This opens up many possibili-ties. You might start a new businessactivity or change residences. Open anydoor — your future is up to you!

Some preteens were hanging out near the entrance to the

local hardware store.“Let’s do something

dangerous,” said Billy.

“Like what?” asked Joey.

“See all those brooms hanging up in the window?”

answered Billy. “I dare one of you to take one of those and run out of the store.”

Freddy replied, “What would that prove, Billy?”

“How brave we are. It’ll be just for fun. And we’ll return it right away and apologize.”

“Then why don’t you do it? Just go in there and grab one of those short brooms,” said

Joey.

“Aw, I was just kidding, guys,” replied Billy. “I’m not

a whisk taker!”

The efficiency expert concluded his lecture with a note of caution: “You do not want to try these techniques at home!”

“Why not?” asked a man from the audience.

“After years of not paying attention, I suddenly noticed my wife’s routine at breakfast,” the expert explained. “She made lots of trips to the refrigerator, stove, table and cabinets; often she carried just a single item at a time. So I asked her, ‘Hon, why don’t you try carrying several things at once? It’d be much more efficient.’”

“Well, did your suggestions save much time?” the attendee asked.

“Actually, yes,” the efficiency expert responded. “It used to take her twenty minutes to get breakfast ready. Now I do it in seven.”
