  • Let the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart be pleasing to you, Lord, my rock and my redeemer. Psalm 19:14

Greetings!I first thought about the words above written by the psalmist when I was about 26 years old. I had hosted acraft show in my home to welcome people as I began a new custom window treatment business. One ofthe participating artists was a calligrapher and she had written this psalm in a beautiful way. I bought thiscreative expression of faith for myself and thought to myself, what a great prompting in my life! I need toremember this!

I had no idea that later in life, I would sense a call to serve as a pastor. Today, this psalm is often a prayerright before preaching. To proclaim God’s word invites the preacher to much prayerful mediation forfaithful words to follow. It invites all of us to our own heart’s meditations. May this be the prompting and prayer for us all. See you in church!Grace & peace,Pastor Sherrie

Testimony from Reconsecrating out Space with ScriptureThe sacredness of reading through the entire Bible was a most reverent act in honor of the work ofrenovating our church. I must admit I was intimidated by the limited amount of time allowed to read theassigned readings, and the names that had to be read. But, overall the experience was one of greatsatisfaction.

Thank you for this great opportunity.Pat Bunch
