Frequently asked questions How many guests can The Manor House cater for? Whilst our packages are based on 50 guests, we are licensed for up to 120 guests in the Sezincote suite or you get married in our Breeze House on the lawn followed by a drinks reception on the terrace. Our function rooms can accommodate 135 guests for an evening reception.

Are we restricted as to what we can have as we'd prefer something else such as a buffet? Not at all! The package is a good starting point that we can amend to your liking. This can sometimes alter the price, however, the day can be totally bespoke to your requirements. We will always ensure that all guests are provided with a suitable meal, so all dietary requirements will be catered for however, we do need most of the guests to have the same starter, main and dessert as each other.

Can we amend the package in other ways as we don't require a DJ or chair covers? Yes, this may also change the price in your favour, so feel free to let us know if you don’t need anything that’s on offer.

Some dates incur supplements' - What exactly does that mean? Certain days/dates within the year do carry an additional fee due to the demand. Rates can vary, so email for further information but these tend to be for Friday-Sunday dates and Bank Holidays. Please note that some dates also require a minimum number of guests to attend the wedding breakfast.

We are looking at having 20-30 guests attend our wedding - Do you have a package for us? We'll certainly be able to offer you a bespoke package that caters for your needs.



Are there additional charges for extra items such as a dance floor, extra tables and linen? Is VAT in-cluded? The above items plus much more are included in the price as is VAT.

What can children have and what age can you serve child's food up to? We like to ensure that all guests have a suitable meal offered to them, so there are plenty of options for children to have for their wedding breakfast with a cost in the region of £18-£25. Children are charged based on having a two course kids meal or a half portion of the adult meal.

Is exclusive use of the hotel an option? Yes, you can book the hotel on an exclusive basis by booking all 35 rooms and paying an exclusive fee to secure closure of the hotel. This will start from 12pm on the day of the wedding through to 11am the following morning.

How long can a date be reserved for and what deposit is required to secure it? We can hold any one date on a provisional basis for one month before a £500 deposit is required to secure a date. If you're looking at getting married at the hotel, you will want to have called the superintendent registrar on 01452 425060 before paying the deposit.

Booking Your Wedding Thank you for choosing to book your wedding with The Manor House Hotel. A provisional booking can be held for 28 days to enable you to co-ordinate other wedding details, which may affect your chosen date. Then:

1 To secure your booking a letter of confirmation will be required, together with a non-refundable deposit of £500.

2 For any bedroom bookings a non-refundable deposit of 25% is required per room to guarantee each reservation. Discounted room rates apply to reservations made online only.

3 All bookings require 25% of the total estimated wedding cost to be paid no later than 8 weeks after the deposit in order to confirm the booking. This payment is non-refundable and is not transferable.

4 24 weeks prior to the wedding day, 50% of the estimated balance will be due.

5 Six weeks prior to the wedding day full payment for the outstanding meal, beverages and any additional agreed costs must be paid.

6 We will wish to receive final numbers 14 days prior to the event.

7 Settlement of any extras incurred on the day must be paid upon departure.
