This Coaching Guide was designed to be used with the Massive Action Plan (MAP) Business Development Guide to take your team of Associates from where they are currently to the level of success they desire as professional business builders. It is a guideline that you can use and adapt as necessary.

Your objective as a Coach is to help your Associates become the best they can be. You want to see them correctly promoting the products and earning the most amount of money in the shortest amount of time by following the path of least resistance.

Our structured coaching program was set up to assist each Associate in utilizing the business model and Compensation Plan in such a way that they will maximize its potential in their own business and, in turn, produce increased sales volume and exponential sustainable growth within your organization as well as within the company.

A good business is a business where everyone stands to gain, where each person has a vested interest in the success of the others.

Support your Associates and, at the same time, keep them accountable.

12. Outline for Creating an Associate Proposal

1. For each potential new Associate, determine WHY you are contacting them.

ʭ Remember, this is someone you know, trust and respect.

ʭ Why is that? Why would you want to collaborate with this person?

2. Begin your approach with something casual like:

ʭ “Hi __________! How’s your day going?”

◊ If someone just stole their car, it’s probably not a good time to talk.

3. Once the initial chit-chat is done … cut to the chase! This respects your friend and does not compromise your time or theirs.

Use the bullet points below as a framework for your approach. They are the foundation of this business offering … your job is to provide the conversation around these points that sounds natural, genuine and direct from the heart, not like a script.

You just finished going through the MAP Business Development Guide with your Coach. You are now ready to identify your potential new Associates and begin coaching them to success.

So what’s next? Below are a few easy steps to get you started.

Steps to Follow:

1. Contact your Top 10 list of potential new Associates. Refer to Section 12 in the Guide, “Outline for Creating an Associate Proposal,” for examples of language to use when calling. Remember to call your Coach before and after each initial call.

2. Identify your 4 new Associates (in your follow through call)—Get them registered and help them set up their Auto Order to begin the following month.

3. Once you identify each new Associate:

• Email your new Associate the Massive Action Plan Business Development Guide and the Personal Business Plan form (MAP Email 4).

• Ask the Associate to print the Guide, and have him/her use plastic sleeves or a three-hole punch and put the document in a three-ring binder.

• Schedule your five coaching calls with your new Associate. Set it up so that he/she calls you.

• When your new Associate brings on each of his/her 4 new Associates, schedule a 3-way call with your Associate, their new Associate and yourself. The purpose of this 10-minute call is for you to edify your Associate and for your Associate to edify you. It is also an opportunity to build the new teammate’s confidence, and to let this newest Associate know that he/she is part of a great team, he/she is appreciated and this is a fun and exciting opportunity.

• Begin sending “In Touch” emails.

• Week 1 will consist of five 1-hour coaching calls.

3. Three Steps to Success Checklist

Step 1: Set up your Associate account.

� Register as an All-Star Associate with a Premium Custom Pack ($499) at Mannatech.com or by phone at (800) 281-4469 (U.S.) or (866) 717-2175 (Canada).

◊ We recommend that you make a three-way call directly into the Mannatech corporate office with your Coach (the person who presented the Mannatech opportunity to you).

� Set up your Mannatech Web account online (see page 7).

Step 2: Set up your Automatic Order* (100 QV) for ongoing wellness.

� Set up your Auto Order to start during the first two weeks of the next Business Period (see page 7).

� Qualifies you to earn all 19 bonuses and commissions based on your sales.

� Entitles you to receive an additional 10% discount on Associate prices.

� Provides nutritional support to a child in need, on a monthly basis, through the Give for Real donation through consumption program.

� Utilizing the outline you create with your Coach, approach your list of contacts in a manner that is comfortable and natural for you. Do not contact anyone until you have discussed your list and approach with your Coach.

� Extend your offer and establish your Business Associates (see page 15).

Stay in contact with your Coach. This is a team strategy and your Coach is there to guide and support you in reaching your goals. You will become competent, confident and comfortable. Train and support your Associates to duplicate steps 1, 2 & 3, and you and your team can be successful!

2. Working with Mannatech

Associate:

ʭ You are an Independent Associate (an independent contractor) authorized to promote and sell Mannatech products in the field, that is, in all countries where Mannatech is operational.

ʭ You are in place to introduce Mannatech information into the field and assist others in their decision to join forces with you as an Associate, purchase product as a member or become a retail customer.

ʭ One strategic business model that has worked for many is to start with a finite business unit: ideally four Associates committed to building a business with four to six members (or retail customers) whom they work with regularly. However, you may choose at any time to expand your key circle.

ʭ Independent Associates are responsible for managing their own businesses (taxes, expenses, etc.).

Mannatech:

ʭ Handles the responsibility of processing and shipping customer orders, provides additional customer service and offers a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee* for 180 days on all product sales.

ʭ Pays bonuses and commissions, based on the product sales of your group of Associates.

ʭ Assigns points to each product sold; it is the number of points earned that determines what an Associate earns. Coaching Call Guidelines

Ideally, the first week of coaching should consist of one hour of conversation every day. Make yourself available should your Associates have more questions or require help.

Second week — Spend one half hour every day coaching.

Third week — Spend fifteen minutes to one half hour every second day on coaching.

Week 1: You will coach your new team member through the Massive Action Plan Business Development Guide. Make sure to cover the following suggested bullet points for each week.

Coaching Call #1• Did your Associate get his/her Guide printed out and put in a binder?

• Read your “Why I love Mannatech” list to your new Associate.

• Have your new Associate complete his/her own love list and email it to you before Call #2. Start the first sentence of your list with “I love Mannatech because . . .” Then, all sentences after the first one will begin with “I love …” You have to love what you’re doing. Let your new Associate know that if there’s anything on your list that he she would also like to have/achieve, you can help with that.

• Begin going through the Massive Action Plan Business Development Guide with your Associate. Read and explain No. 1: Why Become a Mannatech Associate? Ask: Which of these 3 benefits is most important to you?

• Read and discuss Section 2: Working with Mannatech, Section 3: Three Steps to Success Checklist, Section 4: Mannatech Order Form and Section 5: Successful Administration Set-Up.

6. Business Plan

THE VALUE OF YOUR BUSINESS PLAN IS PRICELESS

1. You will have a structure/blueprint that you can follow to meet your business and personal goals.

2. Your Coach can monitor and support you in meeting your goals.

3. As an independent contractor, you will need to have a documented business plan in order to realize certain benefits associated with running your own business.

4. A plan shows a personal commitment you have made to work toward your goals.

Owning your own business and operating as an independent contractor with a multinational corporation gives you massive leverage in the business world along with tax advantages (please consult your tax professional) and the possibility for more time for friends and family and opportunity for personal growth.

As soon as your Mannatech Application Form is processed, you are authorized to sell Mannatech products in every country in which the company currently operates (read the Associate Terms and Conditions included with the Application). Mannatech’s global system is seamless, which means anyone who registers within your business unit becomes part of your existing team. There is no requirement to have a division for each country in which you may be building a business (read: International Sponsoring).

Your business plan will define where you want your business to be within a certain period of time (usually five years) and maps out how you plan on getting there.

10. Extending Your Business Proposal

With whom would you want to share the responsibility and rewards of this business?

While the relationship among you and your Mannatech team members is not the same as that of a traditional business partner or joint venture, it can be helpful to draw parallels from that model to your selection of your new Associate candidates. Invite someone who is honest, reliable, trustworthy and committed. Think of someone who knows how to enjoy life, is open to serving and relates well to others. Look for someone who complements your own skills and values, someone you would love to support and encourage … someone with whom you can develop a strong and successful business relationship.

With the criteria below, you can start to formulate a list of potential Associates that YOU would like to build a business with. Consider each question carefully, and write down the name of each person who comes to mind. These questions will help you consider all your possibilities.

Once you have completed the list, you and your Coach will review it. Highlight the top ten people whom you would like to extend your business proposal to first.

The total average number of Associates in 2010 ordering greater than or equal to 100 PPV per Business Period is 38,470.

Of that total, 27.61% were “Business Builders” and 72.39% were “Consumer Associates.”

For the Purposes of this Income Average Statement, the term “Business Builder” means Associates who ordered greater than or equal to 100 PPV and sold products and earned income from their sales and sales made by their downline.

For the purpose of this Income Averages Statement, the term “Consumer Associate” means Associates who only ordered product and did not earn income.

8. How to Duplicate Yourself into 4,000 People

Business Model—the starting goal is to build a business unit of 4 Associates.

1. Set up an Associate account with the purchase of a $499 pack (over $600 value). Other pack options are also available.

2. Set up an Auto Order (100 QV).

3. Register 4 Associates who want to build a Mannatech sales business; work with your Coach on this.

Coaching Call #3You should have received your Associate’s Personal Business Plan, including his/her “Ideal Day” before this call. Review it before getting on the phone.

Have your Associate start out by reading you his/her “Ideal Day.”

Discuss what hours he/she plans to invest each week in the business. What is their intended date for identifying their 4 new Associates, and what are their income goals?

If your Associate says he/she can commit 2 hours a week to the business but wants to have Presidential income in one year, it won’t happen. Help your Associate get his/her commitment and goals in alignment. You may need to refer to the following sections in the Guide again—Section 8: How to Duplicate Yourself into 4,000 People and Section 9: Your Earning Potential as an Associate. Briefly go over Guide Section 10: Extending Your Business Proposal and Section 11: Memory Jogger. Have your new Associate work on his/her Memory Jogger and list of names before Call #4.

Talk to your Associate about writing down as many names as he/she can think of without limits. Think of people whose lives you’ve impacted. Think of people who have impacted yours. Think of people you’ve crossed paths with. This is just a list of names. It is not a call list!

Once your Associate has a completed list–whether it’s 75 names or 200 names, have him/her circle or highlight the top 10 people he/she would really like to team up with.

Next to those 10 names, have him/her write down why he/she would like to join forces with them. Perhaps it’s because they want to earn more money, they’re committed to being a stay-at-home mom with their children, they’re entrepreneurial and they get things done.

Remind your Associate: Your Top 10 are not people you find in a store line or on a street corner. These are potential business associates. If you’re starting a $100,000 business, who would you want to team up with? Who would you trust? These 4 new Associates will be the foundation of your business. They’re your basic business unit that will get duplicated. You want that foundation to be strong. Pick your team of 4 New Associates carefully, and then commit to working closely with them until you get them started and they feel confident in what they are doing. Then watch this business unit duplicate. See again, Section 8: How to Duplicate Yourself into 4,000 People.

12. Outline for Creating an Associate Proposal

1. For each potential new Associate, determine WHY you are contacting them.

ʭ Remember, this is someone you know, trust and respect.

ʭ Why is that? Why would you want to collaborate with this person?

2. Begin your approach with something casual like:

ʭ “Hi __________! How’s your day going?”

◊ If someone just stole their car, it’s probably not a good time to talk.

3. Once the initial chit-chat is done … cut to the chase! This respects your friend and does not compromise your time or theirs.

This coaching outline is designed to take your team’s Associates from where they are currently to the level of success they desire as professional business builders. It is a guideline for you to use and adapt as necessary.

Your objective as a Coach is to help your Associates become the best they can be. You want to see them correctly promoting the products and earning the most amount of money in the shortest amount of time through the path of least resistance.

Our structured coaching program is designed for each Associate to utilize the business model and compensation plan in such a way that they will maximize its potential in their own business and, in turn, produce increased sales volume and exponential sustainable growth within your organization as well as within the company.

A good business is a business where everyone stands to gain, where each person has a vested interest in the success of the others.

1. Love List:

3. Email your new Associates the Massive Action Plan Business Development Guide and the Personal Business Plan form shown on page 10 (MAP Email 4).

4. Set a time to go over the Guide with them. Plan on approximately one hour for an overview.

Go through and discuss Section 14: Other Resources. Here’ you’ll find the Recipe Card for Business; Three Most Intimidating Statements; the Ambrotose, PhytoMatrix and How Real Is Your Vitamin? tear sheets; and a list of Mannatech Company Statistics.

Go through the MAP Coaching Guide (this booklet).

Answer any questions your new Associate has. You can call your Coach for information and get back to your Associate as needed.

Help your new Associate schedule hours into his/her day-planner to work with you on creating proposals to start calling potential new Associates.

Just as you continue to coach your own Associates, your Coach will always be

there for you as you move forward.

Week 2: The second week of coaching consists of ½ hour every day.

Your Associate calls you before and after each call made to his/her potential new Associates.

Hold your Associate accountable with his/her commitment of time invested to create and work with his/her own team in business development.

When your new Associate brings on each of his/her 4 new Associates, schedule a 3-way call with your Associate, their new Associate and yourself. The purpose of this 10-minute call is for you to edify your Associate and for your Associate to edify you. It is also an opportunity to build the new teammate’s confidence, and to let this newest Associate know that he/she is part of a great team, he/she is appreciated and this is a fun and exciting opportunity.

Week 3: Spend the time needed to get your new Associate trained and confident as a leader.

•Support your team members as needed in working with their new Associates.

•At the end of 28 days, you should be duplicating your own Coach.
