We are nestled at an equal distance between Edinburgh and Newcastle, only a few miles from the A1 and Berwick-Upon-Tweed.

Perfect for larger parties, our marquee offers the ultimate blank canvas to create your own wedding day style with glorious views down the River Tweed towards the Union Chain Bridge.
Choose a ceremony and drinks reception in the Picture Gallery followed bya wedding breakfast and party in the marquee and enjoy the best of both venues.
Please note: Paxton House reserve the right to move the wedding party inside to any available room in the event of unsuitable weather conditions.
Catering can be provided by Paxton House or an external caterer of your own choice.
Enjoy a ceremony or drinks reception in our stunning manicured gardens for a £100 supplement.

Our Victorian Boat House on the banks of the River Tweed is an unusual venue with beautiful views down the River Tweed towards the Union Chain Bridge - a truly unique and secluded wedding venue with a rustic edge.

Paxton House is one of very few venues which can provide a truly memorable wedding ceremony afloat the River Tweed in a traditional coble boat.

The cost of hiring any of the Grand Rooms includes: staff, tables, chairs, standard heating, standard lighting, setting up, cleaning down, administration, grounds and garden preparation and making good after the wedding.
