Fermentation/ BioreactionGas- Liquid- Solid application are tricky in nature. Generally a

combination of shear and flow is required for good yields. Better the

inter-facial contact between three phases better will be the process

result. Our new generation of impellers coupled with gas induction

technology gives superior process results than primitive design.

Reactors/Pressure Vessels : 0Acme manufactures high quality reactors and pressure vessels. We have supplied reactors upto 65 barg pressure & 275 C temperature

with hydrofoil agitators. We can offer single joint limpeted reactors. With state of art manufacturing facility, we have all latest

manufacturing machines, skilled workmen & calibrated gauges. We have ~25000 sq. feet for fabrication of the reactors, pressure

vessels & storage tanks. We work with all TPIA's like BVIS, Lloyds, Quest, TUV etc. We have all WPS/PQR qualified welders with MOC's

SS304, SS316, SS316L, 317L, 904L, Hastelloy, Alloy20, FRP, PP, PTFE, Rubber Lined etc.

Twin Shaft Dispersers : With innovative engineering we have manufactured TSD's with co-axial compact design. Range 5HP to 250 HP

High Speed Dispersers : We manufacture HSD's with hydraulic lifting arrangement from 1 HP to 200HP.

Heat Exchangers: We are looked upon as one of the most dependable shell and tube Heat

Exchangers Manufacturers and Fluid Heat Exchangers Suppliers in India. The

CBT-601-Shear-Gas-Used for gas-liquid application where shear is not detrimental to process. It's a reformed version of Rushton, for lower power gives the same performance. Better when used as a combination with AA-405 or AA-303

Pitched Blade Turbine-well as low viscosity application. Has both axial as well as radial velocity vectors. Helps in application where flow and shear are required. Largely replaced by AA-302 because of power efficiency.

Used for high as Cowl's Disc-Saw Tooth Used for high shear applications. Breaking of solids i ns ide l i qu id mass . D ispe rs ion applications. Mostly designed as a direct driven (motor speed) with high tip speeds for cutting action.

AA-302/AA-303 - Hydrofoil This impeller gives a huge power savings as most of the power is converted into flow bearing axial velocity vectors. This is used for various flow based application having viscosity less than 4000 cPs. Has shown huge power savings, lowered batch times & improved process results.

- AA-304-High Viscosity Hydrofoil impeller developed for applications having viscosity up to 160000 cPs. Gives much better flow in high viscosity. Also used for a mix of shear and flow type application. Pressure type flow pattern.

- AA-405-Gas-Liquid-Solid Application. Used for better gas hold up, dispersion and uniform solid suspension. At same power as that of primitive impellers 15% more mass transfer/yield. This hydrofoil can be used as down as well as up-pumping.

Double Twist DB-1-Specially designed impeller for bottom entry agitators. Widely used in brewery plants. It generates multiple direction flow which ensures no settling at the bottom

ANCHOR-This impeller is generally used for very high viscosity applications. Also it used for applications where material sticks to the wall of vessel and heat transfer on jacket on outside the tank is hampered. Spiral helix performs better than Anchor.

Marine Propeller-applications where high solidity of marine propeller helps. High costs as it requires more material. Axial flow impeller adapted from rigs propel impellers. Performs in high viscosity as well.

Used for specific

FBT-101-Rushton Primitive impeller used for shear applications. Also used in gas- liquid applications where shear is not detrimental to process.

-CBT-602-Shear-Gas-Liquid Used for gas-liquid application where shear is not detrimental to process. This is reformed version of CBT-601, it has ellipsoidal design. For lower power it gives the better performance.

-SPIRAL HELIX - Single flight & double flight impellers with screw arrangement. Used for crystallization process where material is either high viscous or solid formed due to condensation crystallization stick to the walls/cooling surface of vessel

Gas is re-induced through pipe and pushed away from impeller mixing zone. So Gas moves away from turbulence

Suction of gas in vapor space is from shaft and sparged from tip so gas velocity cannot be controlled

Continuous loop formed gas sucked and goes back in vapor space without reacting so batch time increased

Generally single impeller so re-entrainment of gas isdifficult

Combination of gas-induction with hydrofoil will help making system more efficient

Impeller small in size so solid suspension is not uniform throughout liquid mass

Gas is sparged at tip of impeller so gas is pushed away from mixing/turbulence zone of impeller at high velocity

Impeller being smaller cannot hold large volume of gas in liquid mass

Batch time observed to be higher

Gas is induced below the impeller in max turbulence zone of impeller so gas bubble size is reduced

Velocity is controlled by sparger ring and impeller sees conducive velocity

Top impeller continuously changes upper liquid layer so new mass is in contact with vapor space gas every mili- second and reaction rate enhanced

Multiple impeller so re-entrainment of gas is very much a part of system

Gas-induction will enhance the performance of this system

Impeller to tank Ø ratio is 0.3 0.5 so solid suspension is uniform as it is axial flow down pumping impeller

Gas is sparged in the max turbulence zone of impeller so gas dispersion occurs throughout tank

Impeller big and solidity high so this pressure type impeller ensures huge gas hold up in liquid mass

Batch time is 50-60 % lesser than gas-induction type impeller at same or lesser power consumption
