JIER Installation of Hydraulic Press Line in a record time of 20 days.

Unloading, Installing and Commissioning of Hydraulic Press Lines (4x630 T & 1x1300 T) at MG Motors's Halol,

Gujarat Plant.

Challenges:

Unload 288 packages including 7 Heavy Lifts consisting of 5 Crowns, 1 Bed and 1 Slide from 102 trailers. The heaviest

package to be Unloaded was the 170 MT Crown.

Achievements:

The unloading of 288 Press Packages from all 102 trailers was done without detaining any trailer.

Unloading from trailers and Installation of the packages in the pit was done simultaneously thus saving precious time.

With our diligent planning and efforts, the Client achieved the rare distinction of Installing all the Heavy Press Packages

(5 Beds, 5 Slides and 5 Crowns) within 20 days - a record feat for our client outside China.

PROJECT CASE STUDIES

Transporting 51 ODC Modules through the heart of Mumbai city.

Challenges:

Movement of massive Over Dimensional Modules through Mumbai City.

To receive 51 Over Dimensional Modules from Ships' Hook at Mumbai Port & Transport the Modules to Owens

Corning's factory at Taloja, Raigad.

Each Module measured 12 M x 5 M x 5 M & weighed up to 35 MT. Weight of the 51 Modules was more than 1000 MT.

Achievements:

Route Survey & Transport Analysis was conducted to find a suitable Route from Mumbai Port to Owens Corning factory

at Taloja, Raigad considering the 5m height of the Modules.

Special Permissions were taken from Traffic, Police and other statutory authorities to transport the 51 Modules through

highly congested route inside the Mumbai city limits.

The Modules were transported in a convoy within the given window every day and we delivered all packages at site

within 3 days of their dispatch from Port.

All safety precautions were adhered to for the convoy. Electric wires and other Horizontal obstructions were raised for

the safe passage of the convoy.

Due to space constraint inside the factory, we organized a suitable Warehouse close to the client's factory where the

Modules were Unloaded using our Crane and Transported to the factory using our Trailers as per the Installation

sequence requested by the client.

With our planned transport and delivery of Modules at site as per requested sequence. Client was able to Install and

Commission the new plant as per their schedule.

Dismantling and Transport of Komatsu Mining

Dump Trucks.

We had to Dismantle and Transport the 9 Trucks -

Komatsu 830E – the world's 3rd largest Mining truck from

Hindustan Zinc Limited (HZL)'s Agucha Mines near

Bhilwara, Rajasthan to Mundra Port, Gujarat.

Each Truck measured 14.15 M (L) x 7.29 M (W) x 6.88 M

(H) & weighed 220 Tons. The Payload (Carrying Capacity)

of this mammoth Truck is a staggering 244 Tons.

Achievements:

Route Survey & Transport Analysis was conducted to

study the feasibility of Road Transport from the mines

in Rajasthan to Mundra Port, Gujarat - a distance of

1050 Kms.

The Trucks were Dismantled and Transported in

4 parts as compared to the 22 parts required to

transport these trucks to the site at the time of

import, 10 years earlier.

The 9 Komatsu 830E Dump Trucks were Dismantled

into 4 parts within a record time of 45 days as

compared to the original estimated time of 135 days.

We Dismantled each of the Komatsu 830E Dump

Truck within a record time of 4 to 5 days as compared

to the original estimated time frame of 15 days for a

single truck.

This fully assembled dump body in single piece with a

width of nearly 7.5m was Transported across more

than 1000 Kms for the first time in India in a single

piece as compared to 2 pieces in which the Dump

body was Transported from Port to site, at the time of

its import.

Fully assembled chassis weighing nearly 105 MT was

Transported in a single piece.

We eliminated the use of Heavy Duty, big capacity

Crane by using Hydraulic Jacks for Lifting of Chassis.

The Dismantling and reassembly time was reduced by

more than 50 %.

Due to the record time taken to dismantle the Trucks

and the use of alternate lifting methods, we were

able to save time & money for our Principal Client.

RECENT ASSET ACQUIS IT IONS

In line with our vision of being a one-stop-shop for all logistics services, and providing our client with the

right equipment and engineering for their projects, we have taken ownership of two Heavy Lift Flat Top Deck

Cargo Barges.

The Barges have been designed for carrying Heavy Lift Cargo and can be used across sectors: Oil & Gas, Refineries, Power

Plants, and Infrastructure, among others.

The 250 Class Barge is specifically designed for Heavy Lift Cargo transport. With a DWT (carrying capacity) of 5800 MT and a

deck capacity of 15 MT / Sq.m, the Barge is ideal for transporting Offshore equipment including Modules & Cement coated

pipes as well as Refinery Columns, Splitters Reactors. The fully Ballastable Barge can be used for critical Ro-Ro operations

across sectors.

The 180 Class Barge with a DWT (carrying capacity) of more than 2140 MT is best suited for carrying Project Cargo. With a

deck capacity of 10 MT / Sq.m and sidewalls / stanchions of 1.2 M height, the Barge can be used for carrying Heavy Lift

Cargo as well as General cargo. The sidewalls minimize the requirement of seafastening / lashing of the Cargo, thus saving

time and cost for the client.
