The beginning of Cometfer dates back to the 20’s when Mr. Angelo Guardafigo started working in the recovery industry. In the 80’s his son Roberto, following in his father’s footsteps, was one of the founders of Cometfer and is now alone at the helm of what has become a consolidated company.Cometfer now works with over 500 companies, workshops and other industrial facilities and is a qualified and eligible company in global procurement for the management of metal waste and scraps resulting from various activities and productions.Usual supplier of the main Italian and European iron and steel groups, it is also a qualified interlocutor for all those companies working in the reclamation, demolition and processing sector.

We are focused on any type of development that allows for the procurement of metals while ensuring respect for the environment and compliance with applicable legislation.

OurSERVICESOur business consists in getting the most out of recycled goods through the recovery and processing of collected industrial waste and scraps (in watertight swarf storage units with sealed lids positioned in factories, workshops and other facilities) and delivery to end-users. We are focused on any type of development that allows for the eco-friendly procurement of metals. Recovery processes are diversified depending on the type and origin of materials.
