The Blinn College District has announced plans to launch an esports program on the Brenham and Bryan campuses to begin in the 2020-2021 academic year. Esports is competitive gaming using video games on various platforms, often in the form of organized, multiplayer competitions. Our goal is to provide players the opportunity to express their competitiveness and passion for gaming while working to complete their degrees. To show our dedication to that mission, Blinn is one of the few community colleges in the region to offer varsity-level esports scholarships in addition to Blinn’s full range of merit scholarships.
