Early ChildhoodI was born and raised in Miami.
I have always gone to charter schools and even attended Ben Gamla! Mrs. Miller was my principal and Coach Amoroso was my
PE coach! I was class president in high school and gave the speech at our graduation.
I have wanted to be a teacher since I was 4 years old. I used to set up my living room like a classroom and teach anyone who would let
me; even my stuffed animals!

Family I am very close with my family. Some of you may know my mom (Mrs. Silverman). She is one of my best friends and I wouldn’t be where I am
without her. My mom and dad have always believed in me and supported me no matter what. You may also know my sister who is ridiculous but in the funniest way possible. I live in Plantation with my boyfriend and make
sure to visit my family as much as possible.
AcademicsI studied elementary education at
Florida International University (FIU). I got a bachelor’s degree in elementary
education. I plan to go back for my master’s degree next year.
I am also ESOL and reading endorsed, which means I did extra training in
those areas. I am working towards my gifted endorsement this year.
My favorite subjects to teach are reading and social studies! I like math
but I’m not as good at teaching it!

Hobbies/TalentsI love to cook and bake! I learned to cook from my mom when I was pretty young. I often bring baked goods for the rest of the teachers and staff to enjoy!
I LOVE to read more than anything! If there were a way for me to get paid to read all day, I would do it!
I love to listen to music whenever possible. I never do a chore without finding the perfect playlist first.

The lie is….I DO NOT DRIVE A RED CAR! My car is white.My favorite band is Panic! At the Disco and I have met them and seen them in concert 4
times so far!I am currently reading my 21st book since Spring Break! I spent the whole summer
reading!
