As many of you know, WorldVentures is a company established by Reps for Reps. Which means we’ve been right where you are, understand your challenges, and have made it our mission to show you how to build a strong, sustainable business and have fun in the process.

In many ways, the company built on peak experiences, mentorship and inspired learning is the same as it ever was. WorldVentures continues to provide a system of unmatched training events and products to help our Reps achieve financial independence, surpass personal-development milestones, inspire fulfillment through contribution and enhance their experience of the world.

But, truth be told, this is not the same company it was just eight years ago. And that’s good news for you. Take a tour of our corporate office (we saw many of you during the View), and you’ll recognize that we’ve made qualitative team expansions to reflect our focus on the future and to better assist you in the field. Our executive leaders, PAC and international trainers have put in the hard work to build something truly meaningful that coincides with the vision of our founders, Wayne Nugent and Mike Azcue. At WorldVentures, we’ve never been content to rest on our laurels. As Wayne put it so poignantly, “Success creates success.” Through intense, concentrated investment in our infrastructure and leadership, not to mention cultivating our corporate teams, enhancing our product, developing incentives to build your business quickly, and strengthening our connection with the field, we’ve razed obstacles and cleared a path so every Rep with the desire and motivation to succeed can do so. Just look at our initiatives over the last three years:

Today, teams are growing by leaps and bounds globally, and more and more Reps are celebrating relevant life accomplishments with WorldVentures and sharing what it’s like to work for a business they genuinely believe in. And we’re just getting started. Our goal is to realign perspectives of personal worth and develop a world culture that values relationships over going it alone, and contribution above self-interest.

That’s where you come in. It’s time to be an active participant in your life, and, by consequence, the lives of your family, friends and team members. Don’t let this moment pass you by. The initiatives you take today will have a compound impact on your future. If there was ever a time to burn the ships and charge toward your goals, that time is now. Follow our system, seize your goals and bring your team with you. We’ve made it easier than ever for you to hit the ground running. Do your part, and we’ll do ours. Together, we’ll build the future of WorldVentures.

Sincerely,

Dan StammenField Liaison, Special Projects

Next Locale on His Wish List: Barcelona! It has one of the world’s best beaches, and a host of markets, museums and restaurants to explore. I’m sure there’s a golf course or two I could investigate as well!

Favorite Travel Location:So far, I’d pick the South of France. It has exotic locales like Monaco, Cannes, and Nice, and there is never a shortage of experiences to have—beach trips, water sports, and off-shore races. It’s just a beautiful place.

M y recent DreamTrip was not complete without a “You Should Be Here!” banner. Everyone was

taking pics with theirs, and my wife and I felt out of place. Where can I purchase a new one?

Going on a DreamTrip without a “You Should Be Here!” banner is like going to bed without a pillow, proposing without a ring, bathing without soap, driving without gas―you get the picture. Speaking of pictures, when you get your new banner, carry it with you wherever you go―especially on your next DreamTrip! Here’s what you do: Visit WVGear.com, select the WV Gear icon and add the “You Should Be Here!” banner to your cart.

Oh, and if you’ve enrolled new Reps, make sure you tell them that they’ll get theirs in their New Representative Kit. And encourage them to become a DreamTrips Member so they can go on a DreamTrip and show it off.

Before I joined WorldVentures, I went to a company training event comprised of crystals and aura cleansing. What can I expect from a Regional Training Event?

Sigh. Such is the world we live in where training, like talent or taste, means different things to

different people. At WorldVentures, we stay away from the fluff and feel-good, and deliver real training events once a month that are local, cost-effective and chock full of useful tips and hands-on techniques to get your business off to a fast start. You’ll hear from top national and regional trainers in your area who’ll provide step-by-step guidance to help you realize your potential, enhance your leadership skills, sell your product and build an unstoppable team. If you’re interested in registering for a Regional Training Event near you, select “Corporate Events” under the Events/Training tab in your back office.

Recently I purchased a Momentum ticket because I was so blown away by what I learned at the View—it changed my business and my life. However, I just found out that my sister is getting married in Hawaii on January 18. Can someone else go in my place? To the wedding or the event? You shouldn’t have any problem getting someone else to stand in for you in Hawaii. If you’re talking about Momentum, bring her along! The more the merrier, especially at training events. It would be a perfect beginning to a marriage and a great way for the newlyweds to build momentum for the rest of their lives. On the off chance that she doesn’t agree, and you decide

to put family first (without blaming her for making you choose between her happiness and yours, mind you), then the answer to your question is yes, you can send another Rep in your place. Log in to your back office, select “Event Confirmation” under the Events/Training tab and change the Rep name and ID number of the attendee.

I have a miniature Schnauzer that we adopted from the humane society (Lilly!), and she’s become such an integral part of our family. I’d love to bring her on a DreamTrip. Do you have any DreamTrips for pets, and if not, whom can I contact to share my idea?

Alas, we don’t have a DreamTrip that caters to our four-legged friends. But that doesn’t mean we’re not open to suggestions. To share your DreamTrip ideas, submit the DreamTrip Request Form under the DreamTrips tab in your back office.

DREAMTRIPS

SPOTLIGHTCOSTA RICACoffee purists, eco-minded souls,

relaxation-seekers and adrenaline junkies alike will find their own version

of nirvana when they touch down in the Central American gem of Costa Rica. Nestled comfortably between the Pacific Ocean and the Caribbean Sea, Costa Rica is one of the world’s most popular tourist destinations. So, get ready to say Hola! (Spanish is the predominant language, but English is just as popular) and have some fun!

EXPERIENCE “COFFEE” RICAIt’s one thing to enjoy a cup of coffee in the comfort of your neighborhood café, but it’s quite another to experience drinking a cup in Costa Rica, where the soothing aroma fills the air.

The coffee trade in Costa Rica is extremely valuable, but not only to caffeine cravers. These small beans have had an enormous influence on the development of the country’s politics, culture and economy. You can learn everything there is to know about these “golden” beans when you tour the area’s beautiful coffee plantations. Sample award-winning flavors and blends at famous plantations like the Doka Estate or gaze upon more than 600 acres of Arabica beans and visit the aromatic roasting room during the Espiritu Santo Coffee tour.

Don’t forget to buy some flavorful beans to take a bit of Costa Rica home with you, especially the chocolate-covered ones!

UNLIMITED BIODIVERSITY Costa Rica has long respected its connection to the land’s lush rainforests, majestic volcanos and aquatic life, and there’s no end to the natural wonders you’ll discover.

Located in the country’s Central Valley and the size equivalent of Rhode Island, Braulio Carrillo National Park encompasses seven diverse habitats. Rugged mountaintops reach toward the heavens as quiet streams flow throughout the park, home to more than 500 species of birds, 6,000 species of plant life and more than 135 animal species. Tortuguero National Park is also a tourist favorite and famous for its annual sea turtle nesting.

Costa Rica is recognized for its dedication to protecting its biodiversity. After experiencing Costa Rica’s unique natural make-up, you just may leave with a renewed sense of purpose to protect natural resources in your own backyard.

LIFE’S A BEACH… AND A CANOPY TOURWhether you’re looking for heart-thumping excursions or just want to kick back with an

umbrella-adorned drink, Costa Rica has exactly what you’re looking for.

From high above rainforest floors, canopy tours zip you from one treetop platform to the next, giving you a unique aerial view of the terrain. These are quite popular in Costa Rica, with the Monteverde area most well-known for its high altitude zip-lines and, for those who wish to walk and not “fly,”suspension bridges.

When you’re ready to come back down to Earth, plant your feet firmly on any one of Costa Ricas’s 750 miles of shoreline. Enjoy Playa Nacascolo’s soft white sands with protected waters that are great for swimming. If you truly want an escape, find your way to hidden paradise Playa Carrillo, dotted with palm trees, surrounded by mountains and with coral reefs bursting with sea life. Wherever you journey, Costa Rica’s beaches promise all of the sun, surf, sand and water activities you can handle.

Whatever you’re seeking on your trip to Costa Rica, its natural beauty and warm people will charm you—and make you wonder why you didn’t visit sooner. And this idyllic country will be waiting when you’re ready to come back.

O ne of the things that derails many aspiring networkers is that they are caught up in the “microwave” thinking of an average

person, or even more so, the average employee. They have never thought like a business owner.

All business owners know there’s always a ramp-up time required to get their business rolling. Although traditional business people often have to wait years for this to happen, networkers usually wait about 90 days.

When you do anything by yourself, as you do in the beginning of your WV career, you can only add sales. Once you get a team developed, you can multiply your sales! That is a huge difference. Obviously, the bigger the team, the more the potential to multiply!

Most successful new networkers get a group of customers and a small team of Reps started within their first 30 days. In their second 30 days, they add more of each—and their team from month one duplicates that activity. By the third 30-day period, if they continue to add more new sales and new Reps personally, the

multiplication of their existing team members becomes significant enough to bear fruit.

This is actually true in many aspects of life. If you’re out of shape physically, you cannot join a gym and look like an Olympic sprinter in two weeks. But if you’re diligent for 90 days, you’ll show some significant progress. You won’t look like a pro athlete yet, but the transformation you’re seeking will begin to be discernible.

Most people want to “microwave” their success, meaning they want to skip the traditional hard work and do it magically overnight. Food can be microwaved, but success cannot be!

Do what you are taught to do consistently, and in approximately 90 days you will see some positive results. Although this is not a guaranteed theory because unexpected circumstances always arise, it is true the majority of the time.

Success always takes time. Nothing worth having comes quickly, but it’s always worth the wait!

YOU ARE 90 DAYS AWAY!BY MARC ACCETTA

• Do the hard work—add new sales and new Reps personally.

YOUR PATH TO ABUNDANCE

READ THIS

NOW! Let’s be clear: Extravagance and greed

do not define abundance. Abundance is an expression of your hard work, a

consequence of your motivation and desire, a lens that magnifies your passion and your principles, and an opportunity for you to achieve peak experiences and contribute to the greater good. Because abundance is all this and much more, achieving it always comes with responsibility.

Question is, do you deserve abundance? Of course! Everyone deserves the freedom to act according to their empathy and goodwill. However, generations have passed down limiting beliefs that undermine the next generation’s true potential and happiness. Abundance is a mindset, and it takes gumption to get what you deserve. So, do you have what it takes?

If you’re ready to receive what’s rightfully yours, ask yourself this: If a system

Go back and read that again because it’s the path to getting what you want from your business and from life.

POINT OF VIEW That means, a training like A View from the Edge, which just took place in the United States, Italy and Thailand, is not just a blockbuster event with important company announcements, jaw-dropping effects, and relevant messages for motivating your team and inspiring individual growth. It is also an experience that is integral to building your business.

More than 6,000 Reps were taken on an emotional roller coaster at the View this year, establishing meaningful connections with all-new characters, as well as familiar ones (the

BUILD MOMENTUM IN 2014 It’s clear the reason events are so powerful is that they build belief and inspire Reps to focus and challenge themselves to set the bar higher. Momentum may be the next step on your path to greatness. You could very well have the breakthrough you’ve been waiting for. “Head Coach” Marc Accetta and his handpicked team of trainers will inspire maximum performance from your team. Stay on course, and you’ll go far.

MASTERING

Living THE ART OF

“The master in the art of living makes little distinction between his work and his play, his labor and his leisure, his mind and his body, his information and his recreation, his love and his religion. He hardly knows which is which. He simply pursues his vision of excellence at whatever he does, leaving others to decide whether he is working or playing. To him he’s always doing both.” —James A. Michener

BY FELICIA FULLER

with DAVE WATSON

It’s been said that material wealth doesn’t just enhance how you live; it reveals who you are. For Dave Watson, prosperity has

magnified the heart of a man whose net worth is exceeded only by his personal investments in the lives of people. He is what many in the faith community might call a servant leader, one whose hallmark is humility and whose ambition is honoring God by uplifting others.

“I grew up as a small-town boy with small-town values, and I believe that if you want to have real success in your business, you need to have real compassion for people,” says the Louisiana native, whose greatest hero as a boy and today is his own dad, Don Watson. “If you aren’t genuine in compassion, you will not win in business. My core values are based on God, followed by family. I desire to be a servant leader. It is so rewarding when I see people succeed. Through my involvement with WorldVentures, I’ve seen so many people grow in their personal development, which I feel is priceless.”

Considering that Dave managed to build a massive team with WorldVentures, due to his deep connections as a lifelong entrepreneur and former Winona State University football coach, the number of people transformed by his leadership is exponential indeed. For 15 years, he owned a financial services firm and three health clubs. So when WorldVentures came knocking, he answered already armed with a built-in network of loyalists who quickly signed up and spread the word to their counterparts. Today, Dave is an

International Marketing Director, a member of the Presidential Advisory Council and an international trainer for the company.

“I became a Representative because I knew that I was in the right place at the right time. At that point in my life, I was resource-rich but time-broke, and it wasn’t going to get any better,” he recalls. “I knew if I wanted something different I would need to do something different. WorldVentures has given me the freedom to do whatever I want, whenever I want, with whomever I want. But more than that, I’m at a place in my life where I can give as much as I want.”

In the tradition of WorldVentures co-founder and Chief Visionary Officer Wayne Nugent, Dave leverages his influence to give back to the global community. He and his wife, Cheryl, are actively involved in the WorldVentures Foundation—formerly the Manifest Foundation—which serves disenfranchised children around the world by implementing sustainable economic and environmental solutions within communities. Launched in 2010, the Foundation works with partner organizations including Hug It Forward, Boys & Girls Clubs of America, Singapore Children’s Society, Youth Action International, Blessed Homes Thailand, Ciudad Alegria Cancun, and the Nancy Lieberman Foundation to foster global change that will impact future generations. WorldVentures donates a portion of its profits to these humanitarian partners. Independent Representatives and DreamTrips™ Members lend further support through VolunTourism projects that combine tourism with community volunteerism.

“The biggest change in my and Cheryl’s life has been the impact we’ve been able to have in Guatemala, and the impact that Guatemala has had on us.”

One such project is bottle school construction, a cause particularly close to Dave’s heart. A sustainable initiative of WorldVentures Foundation’s Impact Partner Hug It Forward, a U.S.-based nonprofit organization, bottle schools are schools built using eco-bricks―plastic bottles stuffed with inorganic trash such as plastic bags, chip packets and polystyrene. At an average cost of $6,500 per classroom, these innovative solutions to traditional school structures provide a welcomed opportunity for impoverished children in third-world regions to get an education.

“We helped open a secondary school in a community in Guatemala where kids will be able to get a seventh-grade education for the first time ever,” Dave shares. “I can’t even begin to say how much these journeys have helped Cheryl and me grow. The biggest change in my and Cheryl’s life has been the impact we’ve been able to have in Guatemala, and the impact that Guatemala has had on us. Our VolunTourism efforts have become much more than just DreamTrips. They’ve gifted us in more ways than I can ever name.”

WHAT GOES AROUNDIn the spirit of sowing and reaping, Dave and Cheryl want for nothing of material value. But posh estate and private plane aside, it’s the quality time, intimacy and spiritual connection their family shares that matter most.

“I am so blessed with an amazing God, an incredibly supportive wife, three fantastic children and four awesome grandchildren, with one more on the way! Living rich means truly being able to enjoy my family. I heard a quote recently that says it all, ‘You should be spending your time with people who will shed a tear at your funeral, not people who won’t attend.’ Time freedom is one thing I never had and I’m enjoying every moment of it!

“My biggest achievement is that I have raised three independent children… three entrepreneurs. Five generations from now, my great-great-great-grandchildren will be able to experience what I have and know how freedom truly feels.”

So how did he get here, and what makes Dave Watson special? His drive and commitment spring from a desire to see others achieve their dreams. He has a seemingly inherent ability to view any situation, no matter how complex, from the other person’s perspective. This level of empathy arises, in part, from his understanding that building a successful business is based on fulfilling a need or solving a problem. Each is impossible to do if you can’t put yourself in another person’s shoes. Ask anyone what living a life full of fun, freedom and fulfillment entails, and not surprisingly, you’ll receive

remarkably different responses. And no ideas of what this WorldVentures Core Value means could have been any different from how Andreas and Rosita Mamas defined them.

Introduced to one another on a DreamTrip in 2010, Rosita and Andreas work the business full time. At present, the couple has expanded their business into 12 countries with more than 15,000 Reps. However, the shadows of violent and dysfunctional pasts are what led them to WorldVentures and, ultimately, each other.

“I lived a good life,” Rosita says, reflecting on her childhood and time before WorldVentures.

“I was a business owner. My family was well-off and we traveled a lot.”

Despite a gilded upbringing and the spoils that owning a business can provide, Rosita was also mired in what she calls a decade-long “dysfunctional” relationship. Little did she know when WorldVentures was presented to her in 2009 that she’d be empowered enough to set herself free.

“The training and personal development I’ve received helped me let go of all of the bad luggage, in terms of being stuck in a relationship that I thought had no hope,” she says. “I started looking for more and wanting more. I started dreaming again and had no desire to settle for what didn’t

make me happy. And that led to a great marriage!”

Andreas’ life was strikingly different from Rosita’s, but the desire to create a better life was there and like Rosita, WorldVentures was the catalyst that made it possible.

“My upbringing was in a low-class family in a refugee area,” he shares. “My father had to work two jobs to be able to raise four kids. I was a member of a violent street soccer gang, as well as a part of the drug-dealing world and went to jail a couple of times for committing violent acts.”

Introduced to WorldVentures by a mutual friend of his and Rosita’s, Andreas saw more than an

opportunity to see a bit of the world. He saw a way to right the entire course of his life.

“I had already decided to find something to get me out of the criminal world,” he says. “With WorldVentures, my biggest achievement was the transformation and growth in my character and my behavior.”

Once they were aligned with WorldVentures, Rosita and Andreas embraced a life of fun, freedom and fulfillment, and began to define what this important Core Value would mean for them.

“We most connect with this Core Value because we both had that attitude before WorldVentures,” Andreas says. “When we

saw this company, it was the epitome of that value that we lived by.” Using this Core Value as a guideline not only applies to the couple personally, but professionally as well.

“Living a life of fun, freedom and fulfillment is vital in building our business,” Andreas says. “We want to duplicate this spirit within our team by going on a lot of DreamTrips and spending a lot of time having fun outside of business hours. And, of course, we teach how to enjoy the whole journey within our company. Even during the ‘bad’ times, there’s something to laugh about and learn from.” The couple also credits DreamTrips they’ve taken as part of fulfilling their dedication to having an “excellent” relationship, even during trying personal times.

“If fun emerges from any situation, it’s the antidote to almost anything,” said Rosita.

Going forward, they plan to continue their fun, freedom and fulfillment lifestyle to continue growing in WorldVentures, aiming to have two business centers and helping thousands of young people improve their quality of life. With Andreas and Rosita leading the charge as internationally based Regional Marketing Directors, they’ll have quite the accomplished leaders to follow.

“We’ve helped people better their lives, all over,” Rosita says. “That’s a big part of our decision to join WorldVentures so we can live fun, freedom and fulfillment and change lives. ”

Though it’s a subject people generally avoid, experts say life insurance does more than cover the cost of final expenses.

It protects your family, preserves your legacy and provides you with more disposable income in retirement. At least that’s the spiel Sir Erwin Ac Ng gave customers during his 39 years selling policies to families in Asia.

But today Sir Erwin promotes protection of another kind. Rather than insuring families wanting to maintain their standard of living beyond the loss of a loved one, he’s ensuring they can exceed the status quo and achieve true financial freedom.

“WorldVentures allows me to step into a new sector and assist more people in realizing their dreams,” he explains. “My biggest achievement is being able to assist thousands of Representatives in finding their own direction, regaining self-confidence and hope, and changing the destiny of their entire family!”

With more than 16,000 WV Reps from Malaysia to Hong Kong, Sir Erwin’s influence is palpable. Awarded Knight (K.J.O.M.) of Australasia in 2007 by Prince Leonard I of

Hutt, he has a built-in following that propelled him to International Marketing Director in an unprecedented seven months and three days.

“I’m overjoyed by being able to lead my partners to success,” he exclaims. “In the UNITED! awards this year, seven partners from my system won the global Top 10 New Talent Award. Furthermore, the top four were all my partners, giving me great honor. My long-term goal is to assist in developing the market in Malaysia and Southeast Asia, allowing our Reps to run their WV businesses smoothly.”

With a highly developed and successful free-market economy, the region is perfectly poised for WV expansion. According to reports from the World Bank, East Asia is driving the global economy, contributing 40 percent of the world’s gross domestic product growth—more than any other region. There is an emerging infrastructure to support entrepreneurship, including a business-friendly environment and a concerted effort by governments to lift regulatory limitations.

“There’s so much opportunity here to reach out and touch lives,” Sir Erwin says. “Malaysia is

human resource development, educational psychology, business administration, and spiritual psychology; a master’s degree in business management; and a bachelor’s degree in business administration.

His wife Ernestina, successful in her own right, is an MBA graduate who previously worked as a professional model, image ambassador, coach for ambassador etiquette, and nutritionist.

AN AH-HA MOMENTDespite their individual and collective successes, the couple had long harbored a deep desire to merge their business acumen and passion for traveling the world. So, how ironic that a friend would ask to rent office space from Sir Erwin to accommodate a WorldVentures training session.

“He introduced us to the opportunity,” Sir Erwin recalls. “My wife and I travel quite frequently. Due to the nature of my work, we had been to Malaysia, Thailand, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, China, etc.

Thus, the attractive travel packages of WV were very inviting.”

Analytical by nature, Sir Erwin was inclined to question the company and opportunity at first, so he flew to the United States to meet the company founders. He was curious to know how WorldVentures succeeded in combining travel with direct sales. The more he learned, the more excited he became. Discovering that WorldVentures had only recently taken hold in Asia presented an opportunity of a lifetime.

“All this time, we had been seeking a business career for my wife that would fulfill Ernestina’s life without being too taxing or requiring her to be at a specific place all the time,” he says. “We thought of running a beauty salon, a boutique, or a trading business. However, these business models seemed stressful, thus not our ideal lifestyle. We were in continuous search for a career, which would generate substantial income.”

WorldVentures would prove to be the solution.Even today, Sir Erwin cites the now-famous

the heart of the WorldVentures movement in Southeast Asia. We’re the face of the company here so we have a big responsibility. This is only the beginning of our growth.”

By all appearances, Sir Erwin has the clout to drive that growth. Beyond the knighthood, he earned renown in the region as a motivational speaker and successful businessman, having served as Chief Strategist Officer for NanoPrõ and GETHA, CEO of ACUME Sdn Bhd (an MSC Status Co.), Chairman of The Oceania (HK) Hotel Management Ltd., and Adjunct Visiting Professor at Southern Pacific University of America. During his 39-year career with American International Assurance Company, he achieved diamond-level status—the pinnacle of achievement in the insurance industry. He has also mentored countless people at training and speaking engagements around the world and, for his efforts, has twice been named to the “Who’s Who in the Malaysian Chinese Community.”

An academic heavyweight as well, Sir Erwin holds six degrees, including doctorates in

Gumball presentation video by WorldVentures co-founder Mike Azcue. In the 2009 clip frequently shown to WV newcomers, Mike used clear canisters filled with gumballs to demonstrate the magnitude of the travel industry, which he estimated was worth $7 trillion and projected to grow to $13 trillion over the next decade. He presumed, for argument’s sake, that there were only 10 network marketing companies in the travel industry collectively capturing only 1 percent of industry profits. That still represented an impressive $70 billion, or $7 billion per company.

For Sir Erwin, it didn’t take much further analysis to see the exponential profit potential in becoming an Independent Representative with the company. He promptly seized the opportunity, vaulting through the ranks from Marketing Director to IMD in just over a year.

“Whatever the mind can conceive and believe, it can be achieved,” he said to a gathering of WV hopefuls in September 2012, after hitting Marketing Director in just three months.

He says he chose WorldVentures because he believes it is the perfect home-based business with all the right success tools.

“I was awarded numerous ‘No. 1’s’ in my career,” he says. “I left the insurance sector when I reached the peak of my career with the highest recognition. Formerly, when I was giving corporate training, it was helping others make money. The success of the corporation had no effect on me thereafter. At present, when I am training Reps, I create a true win-win situation. As I progress, they progress.

“It wasn’t until we came to WorldVentures that we knew we could realize our dreams of traveling around the world with family, and at the same time generate continuous income! It is also significant that we could help others in realizing their dreams as well. This means a lot to us. We are leading a healthy and happy lifestyle.” PAYING DUESSir Erwin is among a unique breed of entrepreneurs with right-brain creativity

for envisioning the fine details of his future and left-brain strategy for making it happen. However, his ascension in the organization has not been hassle-free. There were some difficult days early on, but he and his wife took inventory, re-grouped and re-launched with a new perspective.

“Our family was against this in the beginning,” he shares. “However, this issue was easily resolved as WV was too good and too attractive. Who wouldn’t like to travel? Of course, we encountered ups and downs during the process. We thought we couldn’t make it through during some of the difficult times. In spite of the obstacles, with strong positive beliefs and thoughts, persistence, plus accumulated experiences, we managed to go through even the toughest period, and saw the lights of success. This was how I earned my IMD.”

Though Ernestina champions the business today, Sir Erwin concedes that she did not see the WV vision at first. “Initially, due to the lack of understanding of the company

committee to discuss and decide major issues. Each of us plays a role and contributes to the network. We do not promote individual heroism. We blend in with the company culture, participate in company-organized trainings and activities. We believe that no one is perfect; thus, we put much effort into healthy development of the team and each is given fair opportunity to perform.”

Of the marketing tools available, Sir Erwin proudly professes to use them all—with 70 percent emphasis on events and subsequent use of the “Just Push Play” DVDs, Facebook, Voyager magazine, and corporate brochures. He passionately touts the DreamTrips product, highlighting the opportunity to create memories at some of the most sought-after destinations in the world at exclusive member pricing. For perspective, he often recounts his first DreamTrip during which he and his wife “received the most precious gift, and extension of our lives— our child.”

operations, she merely intended to be an ordinary member of the travel club, and nothing related to the business,” he says. “The situation improved after we visited headquarters, and she gained insight into the company background and business model, which changed her perspective and made her more receptive to the concept. Moreover, she focused solely on the company, was passionate about its direction and the amazing future it provides. Since then, she has been into the business full force.”

Filled with optimism and anticipation, the couple travels the world sharing their story and the real-life accounts of other WV achievers.

THE SIR ERWIN SOLUTIONAsked what strategies they deploy to build their business, Sir Erwin says, “I wanted to build a system with a harmonious atmosphere in which partners have mutual trust and support each other. We also formed a

and linked on social media channels. Featuring the latest in HTML5 web design and video encoding, WV on Demand is a multi-platform portal created as a result of Representative requests.

All of the company marketing tools help Sir Erwin establish an informed sales team, which offers cohesion and efficiency. Moreover, it offers the entrepreneurial edge of autonomy to work on the business instead of in it. One of the key principles he teaches his team is the power of duplication—a network marketing precept based on the concept that a sound system can be copied by anyone to achieve the same results.

“We frequently assist in conducting speeches. Although every session is only about two hours, we spend a considerable amount of time on WV-related tasks after the sessions. Most of the time we travel to different

countries, providing assistance to business partners in those countries. We travel as we work. Compared to before, we have more flexibility in terms of time management, which is also the main reason we are traveling more these days. Together we work hard and play hard. We are always seen together, happy and joyful.”

Within the next year, Sir Erwin’s goal is achieve the rank of double IMD, and his five-year endeavor is to be the company’s top earner. Within the next 10 years, he hopes to build a lasting legacy in Asia and the world that will continue helping millions of people change their lives through entrepreneurship.

Although his goals may seem lofty, Sir Erwin insists they are attainable with Ernestina as his muse. “My wife is very passionate about life. Her dream is to travel around the world, putting her travel experiences into writing and

Sir Erwin advises his team to “Find your own WHY. Establish your goals, stay firm, never give up. Spend 80 percent of your energy recruiting new partners and 20 percent tending to other matters. Always be humble, put yourself in the shoes of others. You can bluff some of the people all the time and all the people some of time, but you cannot bluff all the people all the time. In WV, one needs to be sincere, fair, considerate, loving, and appreciative to run the business everlastingly. To set an example, we always share our real-life cases, providing Reps with motivation. More importantly, we encourage them to take part in trainings organized by the company, and to learn from the experienced, successful leaders.”

To train his team, Sir Erwin taps into www.wvondemand.com, a virtual library of company presentations, trainings and promotional videos that can be viewed on any web-enabled computer, tablet or mobile device

She brings her Chinese background, shares its history as she travels, and promotes ancient China to a larger population. Her favorite quote inspires everything she does, ‘Love is the strongest power in the universe!’”

RICH LIVING OR LIVING RICHAs he ponders the question of what it means to live rich, Sir Erwin concurs with his fellow Reps that there are obvious material advantages—though they fall far short of the fulfillment gained from giving to others. “Living rich means being blessed with a harmonious family, having good health and an enriched soul, enjoying freedom of time and wealth, and being able to contribute more to society. I have financially supported the building of two primary schools in China, and I am looking forward to continuously supporting aspects on culture and education, as kindness is another form of wealth in life. Besides financial support, I believe it is more important to maintain a merciful heart. Assisting more people to pursue a more enriched lifestyle is what I seek.”

Asked what advice he gives to others seeking to build a successful business: “Don’t demand to foreknow the future. I believe everything in life happens for a reason, and every arrangement is adequate. When things happen, we should just live the moment, seize the opportunity, and appreciate it.”

At 5:30 a.m. on the morning of July 27, 2010, Brooklyn native Michael Jex was on his way home from an all-

night recording studio. As the aspiring music producer played back his voicemail, he heard the familiar voice of a music industry friend who was about to change Michael’s life.

“He told me he was working on something and to check out this website, a WorldVentures site,” Michael, who now lives in an upscale suburb of Miami, recalls. “Once I got home, I went to the website and watched a Jefferson Santos presentation on the computer. It was probably 15 or 20 minutes long, and I watched it for what had to be three hours, over and over. I called my friend up the next day and told him I was interested.”

BY SCOTT KRAMER

Hitting the High NotesMichael Jex, International Marketing Director, United States

Two days later, the friend introduced Michael to a man who had been really successful with WorldVentures. Michael was sold. Thing is, he was unemployed at the time. Instead of backing away, Michael convinced his fiancee Francesca German that this was their destiny. “I had no savings. Our daughter was 1 at the time. But Francesca was right there with me, supportive.”

Michael admits the first thing to draw his interest was the potential income. “I saw the compensation plan, and at the bottom of the plan, it said what an International Marketing Director could make,” he says. “I was always trying to find that thing that was going to help me generate income without having a job. I always thought building a career in music would be it.

A lot of people in music put in time at a studio, but they’re not actually at a job. They’re doing something they want to. I liked the creativity of music. I went to school for music production. I wanted to be a producer. But when I got into WorldVentures, I’d come to realize I wasn’t necessarily in love with trying to build a music career, I was in love with the lifestyle that being in music would’ve given me. I believe that WorldVentures gives me that lifestyle. This is the vehicle that’s going to give me my dream life. So I fell in love with WorldVentures.”

Life has never been the same for the couple. Eventually, Francesca also joined WorldVentures and is now a Director. Michael runs his business full time, with a massive team below him. He likes to lead by example, seeking “people who

Page 31: YOUR CONNECTION TO WHAT’S NEW IN WORLDVENTURES …...DREAMTRIPS SPOTLIGHT COSTA RICA Coffee purists, eco-minded souls, relaxation-seekers and adrenaline junkies alike will find their

31

want to run with me to accomplish common goals,” and he lets them know when he gets someone involved that this is something he’ll help them with but that the onus is going to be on them. “I don’t hold hands,” Michael says. “I don’t believe in working with someone every day, all day until they reach a direct arrangement. I’m going to plug you into the system, and I’ll give you tools, introduce you to leaders, and make sure you get the right training. I’ll give you the guidance you need at the beginning and show you how to build a business. But I won’t be here to hold your hand, all day long, every day.”

Michael admires fellow IMD Byron Schrag, because Schrag built his business almost identically to the way he wants to build his. “If you’re trying to micromanage your team, you’ve created another job for yourself,” he says. “I’m always there to help, but not hold your hand. I like to let my leaders lead. Of my entire team of more than 10,000 people, I can handpick the leaders who helped me be responsible for that kind of growth. I never had to hold their hands. When things go wrong, I believe leaders adjust. It’s a lot like how Phil

Jackson coached basketball. If his team was up by 10 and all of the sudden, the other team caught momentum and scored 15 points, most coaches would call a time out to regroup. Phil Jackson never did that. That’s because he wanted his team to go through adversity so that when they were in the playoffs, they’d know how to handle it and wouldn’t look to the sidelines for help. You want people to be able to ride those waves.”

To market vacation club memberships and DreamTrips, Michael cleverly relies on modern technology. “Social media lets you live-stream your life, as you go about your daily routine,” he says. “Find a way to take the trip. Naturally, whether you’re at WorldVentures or not, you’ll take a vacation and you’ll naturally take some

photos. Those will naturally go on Facebook or Instagram. When you get back, people naturally ask you how the vacation was. WorldVentures is the perfect storm of opportunity. People do this stuff anyway, whether WorldVentures was created or not. I’ve gone on vacations when I was broke, and I know other people have, too. They were always trying to find the cheapest way to go, because they were broke. I have a membership that allows you to take affordable vacations. It allows you to go everywhere. Show people you’re always having fun. You don’t want to post pictures of your trips showing prices. People will think you’re a travel agent and ask you to book one for them. You’re not promoting a website; you’re promoting a lifestyle.” Michael uses a few tools to help him recruit. Every now and then, particularly if he’s short on time, he’ll show the “Vacation Sooner” video―not to enroll anyone but just for them to have. He likes to give them an audio to listen to that essentially breaks down “why much of the population are either dead or dead broke, and why a small percentage of the population is exactly the opposite,” Michael says. “It’s one of my favorite audios to give people, because it changes the way they think. It may change the way they approach an opportunity like this.” He also uses a PowerPoint slide show, because it’s interactive. “It helps me connect with the person more than showing them a video,” he says. “The 15-minute video is amazing. But a PowerPoint presentation is more extensive, because it’s sharing information.”

And you could say that’s music to his ears.

A sk Theodoros Chrysostomou if it’s tough selling WorldVentures in Greece (a country that has garnered

headlines for several years for its economic woes), and he smiles. “Discouragement is for weak people,” says the 27-year-old who is primarily based in Cyprus but whose territory extends into mainland Greece and its many islands.

“The impossible becomes possible if you believe,” he adds. “It’s very easy to do this here if you believe it will be easy.” Besides, he admits, the weak Greek economy actually makes it easier to share the WorldVentures opportunity. “People see they can make money, they can travel and they want the opportunity.”

Theodoros got involved in WorldVentures in 2011, following in the footsteps of a long-time

friend. Within a few months, he knew this was exactly what he wanted to do. He sold his share in a restaurant and plunged into 50-hour work weeks that, he says, didn’t feel like working because he spends time talking to people, helping them succeed and taking vacations he and his fiancee Evia might otherwise only dream about.

“Selling WorldVentures is really just a matter of showing people our travel videos and DreamTrip pics,” Theodoros says. “Right there, many people want to get involved. As for those who decline, we tell them the door is open when they want to take another look.” And Theodoros and Evia are confident they will. “We simply show this to people, and if they like it, they get involved. There’s no pressure. This opportunity sells itself.”

Theodoros and Evia have done very well. Theodoros points to ownership of his “dream car” (a Ferrari 360 F1) as tangible proof of that. One person who can unequivocally sing the praises of WorldVentures is Evia. “She quit her job,” Theodoros says. “So now she can take a lot of great trips with me!”

However, he admits, if he had it to start all over again with WorldVentures, the one thing

he and Evia would do differently is “we would give everybody on our team a lot more motivation and more bonuses. The better our team does, the better we do.”

Theodoros explains that “living rich” means “taking holidays 365 days a year.” He also says it means “not caring about prices anymore.” If he wants something, he now knows he can afford to buy it, and he doesn’t have to fret about his checking account or credit card balance.

For Theodoros, the key to success is to set goals and go after them. In that vein, he personally has set an enormous goal―within a year he wants to earn a place among the top 20 producers in the company globally. “It’s possible,” he says. “We’ll do whatever it takes, and we know we’ll have to get involved on a global scale, not just in Cyprus and Greece. We’re ready for the challenge.”

Hitting that goal is important to Theodoros, but there’s something more important. “The most important thing in my life is helping as many people I can to be financially free, and to create as many leaders as possible. If we succeed at that, we’ll succeed.”

“Selling WorldVentures is really just a matter of showing people our travel videos and DreamTrip pics. There’s no pressure. This opportunity sells itself.”

Experiencing Life’s PeaksMark and Sarah Wiebenga, Marketing Directors, United States

Mark and Sarah Wiebenga’s journey with WorldVentures began more than four years ago, and at first,

they had no idea the ride of their lives had commenced.

An old friend contacted Mark, which led to lunch, where they reminisced and shared a little about each other’s lives and their hopes and dreams. At that time, for the Wiebengas, it was mainly about the dreams. Their present was just so-so. Sarah was working for the government, Mark was an insurance claims adjuster, and neither felt their job was their calling.

The lunch set into motion changes that transformed their lives. Mark’s old friend was active in WorldVentures, and though he had done no recruiting at the lunch, Mark could see clearly that his friend had everything he wanted.

“It took a few invites for us to commit to showing up to a WorldVentures presentation,” Sarah says, “and we are extremely thankful that our friend did not give up on inviting us. When we went to the presentation, we were red apples ready to be picked off the tree.”

Coincidentally—or perhaps it wasn’t a coincidence at all—before that fateful meeting, Sarah recalls she was “writing all these business plans. We were looking to start a travel business. We figured out that travel is one of the biggest industries in the world and we wanted to be part of it. We just weren’t sure how. Then we saw the presentation and I knew what they were talking about would work.”

Add one part unforgettable vacations and one part new friendships, and that’s what the Wiebengas have discovered through WorldVentures.

For those seeking to follow in their footsteps, Mark shared a tip they wished they had learned sooner. “Match and model,” he says. “Find someone who has what you want, do what they do, and you, most likely, will have the same results, if you are coachable, teachable and take action.”

Sarah added that, in many ways, success comes to them as a result of their involvement in social media (Facebook in particular) where they routinely talk about trips, post photos and engage with others about the lives they’re leading. “We promote the product by using the product,” she says.

“WorldVentures has truly changed the direction of our lives,” Mark adds. “Sarah was able to quit her job a couple of years ago to focus on WorldVentures full time and just recently back in January 2013, I was also able to fire my boss to pursue WorldVentures full time. WorldVentures has allowed us to have many peak experiences and has created a ton of memories on vacation. We’ve also met some of our best friends in this company that we would never have met if it wasn’t for WorldVentures.”

“We’ve been able to check things off our bucket list that we would not have been able to, without WorldVentures,” Sarah adds. “We’ve been able to go swimming with dolphins, zip-lining through waterfalls, lunch on the cliff sides of Santorini Greece for Thanksgiving, and so much more.”

Philippines native Joanna Manzanilla Villareal vividly remembers a particular June day last year. Her sister Claudine

had suggested she watch WorldVentures’ Gumball and Matt Morris presentations. She did, and her life changed.

“I got motivated after watching,” Joanna says, who lives in Singapore. “I saw the vision, potential and beauty of the product. That made me think about giving it a shot and doing something that would potentially change not just my life but the lives of hundreds or thousands of people worldwide.”

Joanna believes life offers three C’s: choice, chance and change. And she just happened to be pondering them last June, on that fateful day. “It was right on time,” she says. “Both the travel and business part of WorldVentures is just what I’ve been searching for. I made a

Choosing to ChangeJoanna Manzanilla Villareal, Director, Singapore

choice to take a chance to do something new in my life, because I believe that only when I take a chance that I can have change―otherwise my life would always be the same. I believe I made one of the best decisions of my life.”

She does the legwork, while her partner supports her by sharing ideas and strategies for expanding the business. “The system of building my business that works best are travel parties, mass presentations, bringing my team on trainings and events, and taking DreamTrips,” she says. “I stay motivated by focusing on my ‘whys’ and visualizing myself as a world-class trainer speaking to thousands of people in an auditorium. Believe me, seeing myself as one of Marc Accetta’s trainers is a strong jolt for me. Additionally, my desire to become a living testimony in transforming people’s lives and leaving a legacy to my loved ones and family is reason enough for me to keep moving and be unyielding.”

Joanna doesn’t sell the vacation club memberships and DreamTrips by the book, because she feels the WorldVentures concept sells itself. “You don’t need to sell the idea of Disneyland to kids or the idea of Paris, Las Vegas, Italy, Greece, Mexico, Caribbean, etc., to adults,” she says. “Everyone loves to travel.”

Instead, she posts pictures on Facebook, Instagram and other social media sites with her little blue “You Should Be Here!” banner, posing with her family and friends while having fun. “People get it,” she says. “They start asking for more information about my sign and about the trip. I share my experiences with pure excitement, because it makes me go back to that enlivened moment while I was on that particular getaway.” To introduce new prospects to WorldVentures, Joanna uses tools such as “Just Push Play,” Voyager and Living Proof magazines, and hyperlinks to the Gumball and Matt Morris presentations. “In my experience, these tools have been very effective,” she says.

Through WorldVentures, Joanna has traveled to the other side of the world and spent precious moments with her loved ones. “Those are times that cannot be bought and memories that’ll always last in my heart,” she says. “I’ve learned from the best people in the industry. Education is very precious―no one can take it away from me. I’ve met amazing and like-minded individuals who embody the same principles as mine―to have more fun, bring about freedom and experience, and seize fulfillment in life. Being introduced to the better ‘me’ is a peak experience that serves as my vehicle for self-discovery.”

Tools of the TradeTo introduce new prospects to WorldVentures, Joanna uses tools such as “Just Push Play,” Voyager and Living Proof magazines, and hyperlinks to the Gumball and Matt Morris presentations.

Seek and You Shall FindAnna and Mattias Karlsson, Senior Representatives, Sweden

A cozy beach community and home to generations of boat builders and seakeepers, Orust is the Swedish isle Anna and Mattias

Karlsson call home. It’s a favorite for filmmakers too, featuring a charming, ever-changing landscape, varying from forest and farmland to fishing villages and pedestrian-friendly isles.

Together with their two daughters, they discovered the freedom of business ownership when they pursued the rumor of a travel-centered network marketing company, which ended up being WorldVentures.

“I was looking for a new home-based company and an alternative to selling healthy juice,” Mattias says. “When my mother told me about the company, it instantly caught my interest. She couldn’t tell me more than the name, so I checked it out directly. I looked at Matt Morris’ presentation and after that I was hooked.”

Immediately after studying WorldVentures, Mattias wanted to become an Independent Representative and reached out to his mother’s lead.

“I just needed a person to sign me up,” Mattias says. “I found the number of my mom’s contact and called. The next day, my sponsor Maria

and her sponsor Linda came to visit me. I’d already decided to join, but they didn’t know that, so I let them present.”

A few months later, Mattias and Anna exchanged their “rusty” Mazda for a BMW Z4 and are looking forward to enjoying their first DreamTrip.

NEWFOUND POSSIBILITIES Once exposed to the opportunity, Mattias says he’d never been more sure of a business than he was with WorldVentures. He saw potential for his life and many others.

“I had a great feeling about everything relating to WorldVentures,” Mattias says. “This was my thing! I’ve learned so much about myself and met so many awesome people. I’ve been able to fire my boss and am working my business full time—and loving it!”

Mattias had dabbled in network marketing before, but nothing had the promise of WorldVentures. He decided this endeavor would be different. He would focus more on teamwork than he did previously.

“This time, I was going to be good at this business and very successful,” Mattias says. “I’ve placed a

lot of emphasis on helping everyone on my team, duplicating and teaching each member to do the same. No one should stand alone, and especially not a person who is new to the industry.”

Mattias believes WorldVentures has had and will have an immense impact on his life and the lives of those around him. He also feels it’s his duty to introduce this “unique and awesome” opportunity to future Reps.

Taught he could achieve anything he wanted, Mattias says it took time to mature into this encouragement, needing to learn first before he could truly understand it. He believes whole-heartedly in WorldVentures because of the teamwork and personal development it provides. He considers them crucial necessities to success in network marketing.

“WorldVentures has totally changed our lives and enhanced our dreams for the future,” Mattias says.

“I’ve placed a lot of emphasis on helping everyone on my team. No one should stand alone, and especially not a person who is new to the industry.”

WorldVentures Marketing, LLC—USA & CanadaAnnual Income Disclosure Statement

WorldVentures has designed its compensation plan to reward Independent Sales Representatives for: (1) successfully making personal sales of WorldVentures’ retail products (DreamTrips, DreamTrips Life and Luxury DreamTrips memberships); and (2) successfully building sales organizations by recruiting, training and motivating other team members to do the same. Below is an income breakdown for fiscal year 2011 in the United States.

During the period October 2011 to September 2012, 19.82% of all Independent Representatives (“IRs”) earned a commission or override, while 80.18% did not. The average annual commission or override earnings of all IRs, including those who did not earn a commission or override, was $190.15. The average annual commission or override earnings or that group of IRs who earned a commission or override was $957.12, and the median was $40.00. The data presented in the table above is based only on those IRs who earned a commission or override within the time period of October 2011 to September 2012.Notes:1. All amounts are represented in U.S. dollars.2. These figures do not represent Representatives’ profits, nor do they consider expenses incurred by Representatives in the promotion of their business.3. Promotion levels represented in the table are based on ranks achieved at the end of the year.4. An Independent Representative is one whose Independent Representative agreement was accepted by WorldVentures within the 12-month period preceding

the last day of the fiscal year displayed.5. An active Representative is one:

a. whose Independent Representative Agreement is in good standing and who has made a sale of a WorldVentures product within the 12-month period preceding the last day of the fiscal year displayed; or

b. who has earned a commission or override with WorldVentures within the 12-month period preceding the last day of the fiscal year displayed.6. Figures are for the U.S. market after five full years of operation. Figures may not reflect incomes in newly or less-established WorldVentures markets.

There are no guarantees regarding income. The success or failure of each Independent Representative in WorldVentures, like any other business, depends on the Independent Representative’s own skill, dedication, personal effort and leadership qualities.
