We’re growing and at an extremely rapid pace. Our recent launch in Malaysia was nothing short of a huge success, with more than 1,000 new Reps joining our family in the first week alone! As we continue to take our company worldwide, we remain 100 percent committed

to ensuring our corporate team also grows efficiently and exemplifies the culture you’ve helped us cultivate.

Starting from the very top, we’re taking steps to not only evolve and create opportunities for our staff to grow but also to help you define what success means to you. We know that success looks different to each and every one of you. No matter how you measure it, you’ve entrusted us to live up to promises we’ve made to help you get there―and we don’t take that responsibility lightly!

By capturing the vision of founders Wayne Nugent and Mike Azcue, we challenge ourselves daily to align with the Core Values. In doing this, we’ve come to view our products as a multi-faceted offering that lets you focus on what’s important to you: traveling, securing financial freedom, giving back, personal development and socializing with other kindred entrepreneurial spirits. By focusing on these central themes, we’ve become very selective about hiring people who fit our culture here at the corporate office and who are just as invested in your growth and achievements as you are. Maybe even more.

Personally, I’ve never seen a company where there has been so much excitement about what the future holds. Your spirit is electrifying and we feel it radiating from every corner of the globe. It’s not only exciting, but extremely motivating for all of us here. We are a young company and though we’ve grown a lot, we know we’re not where we want to be―yet. But we know we’ll get there, and we couldn’t have asked for a more passionate group of traveling companions than you.

Sincerely,

Roberto CanalesSenior Vice President of Finance

In front of my entire family my brother said that WorldVentures wasn’t open in our mother country. Now we are not

speaking to each other. Please put this argument to rest for us so we can get on with our lives.

Ah, sibling rivalry―a rite of passage that, for some, goes on forever. And while we can’t answer your question without knowing your country of residence, we can give you a little background and provide the current list of countries we are open in.

WorldVentures was founded by Wayne Nugent and Mike Azcue on Dec. 10, 2005, and to date boasts 110,000 Representatives in 25 countries around the world―pretty good headway for a fledgling direct-sales startup eight years in the making, don’t you think? Last year alone we added Ireland, Iceland, Poland and Malaysia to the mix. Chances are, we’re open where you live. And if we aren’t, give us time. We’re on an international course that is revamping perspectives and changing lives. Here are the current countries we are open in, maybe you’ll recognize yours:

Austria, Botswana, Canada, Cyprus, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, Ireland, Israel,

Iceland, Kenya, Malaysia, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Russia, Singapore, Slovenia, South Africa, Sweden, United Kingdom, United States and Zimbabwe.

I have a dilemma. My husband’s job is taking us to Madrid, Spain, a place WorldVentures is not open in. Can I sell my business center to someone else?

If you’re so inclined, you can sell your business center. It’s known as a sale and transfer.

Fortunately you can’t sell your hard work, your sweat, your toil, your joy, your aspirations, your perspective, your dreams, the enterprising years you’ve spent with WorldVentures and the very experiences in this business that have made you who you are. In other words, you can’t sell the person this company has made you. That is priceless. So, even if you do sell your business center, and you eventually make your way back to a country where WorldVentures is open, the good news is that you will still have what it takes to quickly pick up where you left off. Make sure you keep in touch with the friends and family you’ve made here, and keep up with us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

Please read the policies and procedures carefully as several steps and restrictions apply. The online form can be found in the back office under “Support” and “Support Forms.”

Can I use my event credits for something other than event registration?

You mean like booking a DreamTrip or purchasing training materials? Unfortunately, WorldVentures event credits can only be used toward WorldVentures events. However, we have events year round, in cities all around the globe. So, you’re sure to find something that suits your schedule. Your event credits are good for Momentum, UNITED!, Boot Camp, A View from the Edge, Acceleration and Regionals. So, if you’ve got ‘em, use ‘em. Event credits expire one year after they’ve been issued.

FORT WORTH“Where the West Begins.” “Panther

City.” “Cowtown.” In its more than 150 years, Fort Worth has

taken on a number of monikers, and in 2014, it’s sure to be the city where WorldVentures hosted it’s largest UNITED! event ever.

And when Reps the world over stream into the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, they’ll be treated to one of most culturally rich and exciting cities in the Lone Star State.

WHERE OUTLAWS PLAYEDOnce known for its saloons and gambling parlors frequented by the likes of legendary outlaws Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, for whom the area is named, today the 35 blocks making up downtown’s Sundance Square are better known for their entertainment, dining and shopping options.

And with the help of Molly the Trolley, making your way through Sundance Square has never been easier. Hop aboard the free trolley outside your downtown hotel, and visit the area’s points of interest, including the renowned Bass Performance Hall and the two 48-foot limestone angels gracing its exterior; the Water Gardens, an urban oasis and testament to creativity; and the

JFK Tribute, commemorating the U.S. president’s visit to the city the day before his assassination.

COWBOYS, LONGHORNS AND BARBECUE Of course, Fort Worth has cowboys… and longhorns… and even a daily cattle drive. It’s part of the city’s very fabric, and what helped put it on the map in the late 19th century, when cowboys herded more than 4 million head of cattle through the city.

Today, the Fort Worth Stockyards National Historic District honors the city’s western heritage, and takes you back in time to the days of the cattle drives and the Chisholm Trail, which ran from Texas to Kansas. Every day, at 11 a.m. and 4 p.m., you can watch an authentic demonstration of what one of these cattle herds would have looked like in the late 1800s on Exchange Avenue, taking the steer through the middle of the Stockyards.

After the cattle drive, grab a bite of authentic Texas barbecue at Riscky’s, also on Exchange. The brisket’s smoky flavor and signature sauce will leave you wishing you had a Riscky’s at home.

Just as Fort Worth is in for a treat when WorldVentures visits in April, you’ll be in for a treat when you venture beyond the convention center and explore a city where heels and boots are both acceptable for a night on the town. You’ll discover a city rich in heritage, art and culture. This is where the West began.

When I was 14, my friend Paul talked me into skipping the Yankees game that we had tickets for to go to the US Open

Tennis Championships. This was back when the Open was in Forest Hills, New York, and the stars of the day were Bjorn Borg, Jimmy Connors and Chris Evert.

After one afternoon of world-class tennis, I was hooked! When I got home, I immediately went to the local sporting goods store and bought my first racquet. I spent the next several years attending the Open, and then going back to my local courts and doing my best to recreate the strokes I saw my heroes displaying.

I learned many lessons along the way. One was that tennis is about 90 percent mental. Many of the most talented players in the world lost championships because they were not in control of their thoughts and emotions. Does that sound like it has any application to our business?

So many players lost their matches before they ever went out on the court. They were intimidated by their opponents and didn’t think they could win. As Henry Ford said, “The man who thinks he can and the man who thinks he can’t are both right.” They were right—and they lost.

Others would lose their tempers and unravel over something as simple as a bad call by a line judge. Even though they lost by only one point, they ended up blowing

the whole match because they had an emotional meltdown!

Then there were players like Bjorn Borg and Chris Evert, who were like machines on the court. No matter what happened to them, they just kept going. A bad call or unexpected disappointment could not rattle them one iota. They were clearly in control of their thoughts and emotions.

One of my favorite matches ever was when Guillermo Vilas beat highly favored Jimmy Connors in the 1977 Open final. Vilas was so crazy, he believed he could win—and he did! He didn’t listen to the critics, nor did he let the fact that Connors already had several major championship victories intimidate him.

Are you listening to your critics? Nothing will kill your career quicker than that. The hilarious thing about 99 percent of all sportswriters (critics) is that they are horrible athletes who never won anything. They just sit around and criticize those of us who have the guts to grab a racquet and go out to center court to give it a try!

The “experts” said Vilas had “no chance” to beat Connors. On paper, Connors was clearly superior. Fortunately for Vilas, they don’t play tennis on paper! Maybe the experts/critics are pointing out how the odds are stacked against you becoming successful with WorldVentures. Just like Vilas, you can prove them wrong. Just like Vilas, you have nothing to lose!

GAME… SET… MATCH!BY MARC ACCETTA

The trick that most great champions, from Borg to Andre Agassi to Martina Navratilova to Pete Sampras, and on to today’s greats, like Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal, will tell you is to play “one point at a time.” Don’t think about the great shot you hit a few points ago, and don’t dwell on the big shot you just missed. Focus on this point and this point only!

Staying in the now is definitely a key to succeeding in our business, too. Your past should not determine your future. Never earned more than $100,000 a year? You know what? At one point, I hadn’t either—and neither had Jeff Bolf or Byron Schrag or Kari and Lisha Schneider!

Don’t worry about what you haven’t done yet. Think about today’s presentation. Don’t think about the sale you missed last week. Think about tonight’s three-way call. Play it one point at a time. Stay focused. Control your thoughts and emotions. Develop the mental toughness of a professional tennis player, and you will be well on your way to winning your own championship!

I’ve learned many more lessons while watching and playing tennis, and I look forward to sharing them with you in future articles and trainings. But for now, if you adopt these thoughts, you will have a clear advantage... on and off the court!

LIVINGEric Allen was on the treadmill running as

fast as he could, metaphorically chasing his dream. He was in his early 30s, and his

dream, like that of so many others, was to be a big-time college basketball coach at the Division I level. It was why he taught and coached for several years in high school in Indianapolis, Ind., where he still makes his home. After teaching a full course load each day, he would often close down the school late at night after coaching three different sports throughout the school year. He felt like he was truly making a difference in the lives of less fortunate students, but when the opportunity came along to become an assistant basketball coach at Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI), a Division I program that was on the rise, he knew it was an opportunity that he could not pass up.

It had always been Eric’s dream to be a Head Coach of a top Division I basketball program, so the decision to join IUPUI could open that door. And yet… basketball-loving Eric Allen, a man who worshipped and read every book the late, great UCLA coach John Wooden ever wrote, wasn’t happy.

“Chasing my dream of becoming a D-I college basketball coach was turning into a nightmare,” the now-36-year-old Eric says. “I was missing out on my kids growing up. I was never home. So, slowly I started to look for something different. Something where I could get my life back.”

When he started looking for a new path, Eric transitioned into network marketing during his final year as a coach at IUPUI, and started working for another direct sales company. He had some initial success, but unfortunately with one phone call and one email from the company management, all of his hard-earned cash flow was completely gone, and the company folded.

Eric wasn’t sure where his life would take him, but he needed to make a decision… and fast! His family was a few weeks away from living on the streets, or with his mother, and as Eric jokes, “I’m not sure which would have been worse!” But he ran into Matt Morris, and Morris began talking to him about the opportunities and complete lifestyle change that awaited Eric if he got involved with WorldVentures.

“Matt told me that WorldVentures is a personal development company disguised as a sexy cool vacation club,” Eric says.

Intrigued, Eric made the decision that WorldVentures would be his last run at creating a lasting legacy for future generations.

“Once I appreciated what we have our hands on in WorldVentures, it became a matter of sorting through the numbers to find others who caught the same vision I had,” he says. “Our product is what everybody wants; it’s not a tangible product, but we’re in the business of creating wonderful memories, and I saw that was definitely something I wanted to be a part of.”

From his humble beginnings, this son of a schoolteacher and an engineer has become a National Marketing Director in under four years, and he has been blessed with motivated and talented Representatives on his team.

His enthusiasm for WorldVentures bursts through every time Eric speaks, and he needs no prodding at all to talk about how big of a difference the company has made in his life.

The biggest change has been in his family life; Eric and his wife Casey have three boys: 10-year-old Bryce, 3-year-old Brady and 2-year-old Landon.

For the first half of Bryce’s life, Eric was hardly ever home. He missed out on many of the big milestones of fatherhood.

But thanks to WorldVentures, he’s been able to make up for lost time, and have an abundance of quality experiences with his younger boys. “I’ve gotten my family time back, which has become so important to me, because you never get that time back when your kids are young,” Eric said. “I spend my time with them and we have so many high-peak experiences, more than I ever thought possible when I was a coach.”

The chance to travel and bond as a family is something Eric had instilled in him as a young boy; as a kid he and his parents took annual camping trips. With WorldVentures, Eric has

gotten to take his children all over the world and give them more childhood travel memories than he ever thought possible.

In transitioning to WorldVentures, Eric says he immediately noticed similarities between his new career and his old one as a basketball coach and inner city teacher.

“In both careers you’re helping other people reach their goals,” he says. “Doing that has really quenched my desire that I felt while coaching; I channel the same values that I used there into the direct-selling profession.

“I would also say that the values that enabled me to be an effective teacher and coach come into play here as well,” Eric says. “Things like putting others before yourself, trying to be a servant-leader and even following the Golden Rule.”

Another factor in his early success, Eric candidly admits, was desperation.

“When I started, all our cash flow in our family was gone,” Eric says. “My wife Casey made sacrifices, and I couldn’t have done any of this without her.

“But I was pretty detached emotionally to what other people thought or said about WorldVentures, and that helped me get ahead quicker.

“Some people when they start (at WorldVentures) only share their ideas with a few people, maybe five to 10 who they know, and they allow those people’s opinions to dictate their future with WorldVentures, and ultimately their entire lifestyle, which is so tragic.

“But I was as aggressive as possible and really shared WorldVentures with everybody.”

Asked what he’d do over again if he had to start from scratch, Eric says that “there’s probably some negative people I wouldn’t have spent as much time with as I did. There are too many positive, proactive people out there who need to hear our story, so there’s no need to waste time on whiners and complainers.”

Eric says that his business strategies are simple: Work with high-quality servant leaders and empower them to take charge by plugging them into our proven events culture.

“I’ve been very lucky and blessed to meet people along the way who are talented, and I’ve just had to let their light shine,” Eric says. “Finding self-motivated people has been key, and my job is to lead by example.”

Despite Eric’s success, he knows continuous improvement is essential. He’s constantly reading books, listening to motivational and other audio content and continuing to plug into the WorldVentures trainings. He never misses an event, nor do his top leaders.

“Wherever I go, I find that most people would like to travel more, but time and money keep them from traveling and experiencing life like they’d really want to,” Eric says. “Just showing them how they can do that is so rewarding.”

Another key to his success has been always looking for creative people to join WorldVentures.

“I’m always recruiting ‘up’ to people with skill sets that I don’t have; I think that’s really crucial to keep getting better. It’s just a matter of finding other people with tremendous skill sets and abilities, and getting them plugged into the WorldVentures system. Finding people who’ve had success in other areas can be really beneficial.”

As for future goals, Eric’s very much interested in becoming an International Marketing Director and beyond. More importantly, he just focuses on becoming the best servant leader that he can be to others, and the rest will take care of itself.

“That’s where a lot of the leaders are, and you can make even more of a difference in people’s lives at that level,” Eric says.

Long-term, Eric wants to “create a generational asset with WorldVentures, that will change the course of our family’s history from what it was before I had this blessing in my life. Honestly, I see my great-great-grandchildren benefiting from the work I’m doing now.”

To that end, Eric’s voice beams with pride when he talks about 10-year-old Bryce Allen getting more and more interested in his dad’s work.

“Yeah, he’s asking a lot more questions about it now, and I’m able to explain things to him, and he’s gotten excited about it,” Eric says. “Plus, he’s able to tell his friends about all the great trips we’ve gotten to take, so it’s really opened up his life to all these new experiences.”

With his family and professional success combined, it would seem that Eric is a Master in the Art of Living. To him, it means something very simple.

“It’s being able to wake up each day, to live on your own terms, and do whatever it is God has called on your heart to do,” Eric says.

“I became an inner-city teacher and basketball coach to have a profound impact on other people’s lives,” he continues. “But WorldVentures has allowed me to impact so many more people’s lives all over the world, in a short amount of time.

“I always had these lifestyle goals and philanthropic goals I wanted to achieve in my life,” he adds, “and WorldVentures is the vehicle I found, and I couldn’t be happier.”

You can’t buy it, but you can earn it. You can’t take it, but you can receive it. You can’t see it, but you can feel it. And when it’s lost, it’s so hard to find. Trust, like faith, is the substance of things

hoped for and the evidence of things unseen. For Cynthia Koh, it’s the foundation and framework of life filled with achievement and free of fear. It’s also the Core Value she most aligns with: “Honor, Embody and Expand Trust.”

“Trust is on everyone’s list whether it’s a business partnership, a love relationship, a friendship, or even a relationship with siblings,” says the WorldVentures National Marketing Director and award-winning Singaporean actress. “It’s important to be a trustworthy person so that you gain loyalty from the people around you. When I handle my business, I practice trust and integrity. They are the two fundamental aspects in any successful person. How far you will go in this business depends on how much others trust you.”

Cynthia learned early to believe in herself. Born to working-class parents, she got her first part-time job at just 15 years old. Following graduation from Saint Anthony’s Canossian Secondary School, she enrolled in drama courses at Singapore Broadcasting Corporation (now MediaCorp) and, at the tender age of 18, she landed her first role on Mandarin TV. Since that time, Cynthia has performed in 46 dramas on screen and on stage, including the critically acclaimed “Men at Forty-Eight” in 1997. Her honors include Best Actress and Top 10 wins from the Star Awards and an Asian Television Awards best actress nomination.

“I wasn’t born with a silver spoon in my mouth,” she quips. “My parents taught me to make use of every opportunity I have. I am a great risk-taker and I love to venture into the unknown. It’s life and life is full of surprises. Nothing in life is a guarantee. I have learned to live fearlessly.”

Ever mindful that fame is fleeting, and still searching for new adventures, Cynthia joined WorldVentures at the urging of a close friend. “She was pretty mysterious about it at first, and I got frustrated because she was too busy to show me the business. So I approached James Lee to arrange for a chat over coffee. That was the 13th of December 2011 to be exact.”

“To say it has changed my life is an understatement,” she shares. “It’s more like WorldVentures has transformed me into the person I really want to be. I am living my life the way it was intended. I go out and travel for the sole purpose of creating peak life experiences and having great fun in my life. The more I travel, the more grateful I am for what I have. I understand life much more now than before. And I’ve learned to appreciate the beauty that life has to offer. Most people don’t believe in passive income. They think it’s impossible to achieve. I guess I am living proof to a lot of my friends that a plan B is possible.”

To build her team, promote teamwork and impart her strategic vision, Cynthia’s WV partners meet periodically in person. In the interim they deploy the system of duplication—inviting, presenting,

closing and training—to expand in numbers. Presentation videos rank highest among the group’s marketing methods. “I love WV trainings―they help the team stay positive,” she explains. “Doing daily affirmations and being aware of our daily thoughts helps a lot, too. Most of my teammates are open to reading books and listening to audios that I’ve recommended, and we go to trainings together. I do lend them my ear if they need advice.

“As long as WorldVentures is around, I would love to do more for others and add value to people’s lives, whether it’s VolunTours or training. I believe we all have vast experiences and stories that will benefit others.”

Cynthia’s compassion aligns with her ability to trust others. Trust is reciprocal and reaches inward, and when Cynthia looked within and extended trust, she reaped the benefits of her belief. “I feel very blessed to be part of something that helps others expand and learn more about life and themselves.”

Each day the world meets your expectations. It’s no secret that your perspective shapes your experience.

What’s remarkable, however, is how belief builds awareness; and how with every insight doors open up, new futures unfold and once-only-dreamed-of possibilities become everyday realities.

Awareness is a far cry from personal-development mantras that ask you to be blindly optimistic. It is a granular, moment-by-moment introspection that has created a revolution of sorts within WorldVentures, and may very well change the world as we know it.

Of course, the path you take is up to you. There are many ways up the mountain, so to speak. Some find their way at events, some accept the challenge by their leaders to look beyond themselves and some, like Stavros Zenonos and Katerina Konstantinou, acquire awareness the old-fashioned way―they earn it through trial and error.

RISE AND SHINE Not too long ago, life was a catalog of setbacks for Cyprus’s newest International Marketing Directors. Their reality shadowed their limitations, and their promise was drastically undermined by their outlook.

“I was a very angry person,” Stavros admits, reflecting on a mindset that threatened the very core of his character. “Whenever I felt like someone was threatening me or my family, I became very aggressive. And while Katerina and my family were always there to support me and encouraged me not to take everything so seriously, I still got into trouble.”

Stavros is honest, raw almost, and his emotion is palpable as he tells the story of an altercation he

had during a soccer game. “A guy was shouting at some of my friends and I confronted him. When he tried to kick me, I defended myself and retaliated violently without thinking. The police arrested me and I spent four days in jail. On the fourth day, I was taken to court in handcuffs. When I approached the doors of the courthouse I saw my mother, who fainted right in front of me.”

For Stavros, this moment, frozen in time, was so defining, so revelatory, he was awestruck. He knew then that his actions not only mirrored his beliefs; they were also collaborative, extending beyond himself and merging with the expectations of people he loved. And he accepted the responsibility to act accordingly.

“Because I hurt the people I loved, I killed the anger and deleted the word ‘violence’ from my vocabulary. I realized that in my life there is only room for love and not for hate.”

Unlike Stavros, Katerina’s privilege was an impediment to her growth. “When I was a child, my parents gave me everything,” she says. “Nothing was ever enough. I always wanted more.” When her father had a heart attack, it was Katerina’s turn to arrive at a moment of clarity. “I was in the hospital with him for more than a week,” she says, reliving the experience. “After that, I never asked my parents for anything again.”

Stavros and Katerina let bygones be bygones. They listened when life asked them to be better, to have vision and to rise above setbacks subsequent to their behavior. Because they allowed their awareness to alter their course, they opened the door for possibility. But they couldn’t have done it without the support and guidance of the people who loved them.

FAMILY MATTERSThe breakthrough that begins when one person meets another can build a spectrum of recognition and understanding that liberates a culture and moves the world. This is a story about two people who met and, because of their connection, continue to have a crucial influence on the perspective and livelihood of thousands of people worldwide. The majestic Mediterranean city of Limassol, Cyprus, is the backdrop. Because of the global economic crisis, this city charged with vast historical significance, mired in hardship, was where Stavros and Katerina found themselves.

What brings people together? What creates the intoxicating urgency, the willingness to see what others miss? Whatever it is, our connection with someone else remakes us. We are no longer ourselves. We become part of something simultaneously empowering and vulnerable, at once awakening and reinforcing our true potential.

Stavros and Katerina met in their teens, long before their defining moments of self-awareness. And through it all they supported each other. Did their union lead them to redemption? Maybe it wasn’t the way they came together, but that they saw each other at all that enabled them to see outside of themselves and roused their empathy and compassion for other people. Whatever the cause, support from their family was invaluable, as was the bedrock of their beliefs.

“We grew up in Christian orthodox families,” Stavros says. “Belief in God is very important to us. We’re both from traditional Cypriot families, and we’re very proud of this. In our country the most important thing in the world is family and that’s one of our biggest whys in WorldVentures.”

“Thank God our parents made the sacrifices for us to grow up properly,” Katerina adds. “We come from families that showed us a lot of love. Our parents provided for us even in difficult times, and now it’s our turn to do the same. We’re committed to each other, and we’re going to live the rest of our lives together―happy, healthy and wealthy. Our children will have what they need to live ethical, fulfilled lives.”

Clearly, family has been a central influence in this couple’s emotional development. The investment in upbringing cannot be overemphasized here. Stavros and Katerina are the results of years of love, guidance and parental foresight.

“Our beliefs are our strongest weapon,” Stavros says. “And we have our parents to thank for what they passed down to us. They were our No. 1 childhood heroes. The main thing I learned from my father is never quit. He always told me, ‘If you start something, finish it. See it through to the end.’ Often, when I started something, I would struggle at the beginning and he would advise, ‘It’s not about how you start, but how you finish.’”

Finishing strong for this husband-and-wife team means relying on each other, and extending the same attention and care to their business. This amount of investment takes time, love and compromise built around listening, empathy and trust. The parallels of a relationship and team building are obvious. You have to extend trust. You make connections with other people. You learn from them and open yourself up to them. Maybe that’s why Stavros and Katerina have been so successful building their teams in WorldVentures. Because they’ve mastered the art of nuance: They listen, they respond to the people they work with and they provide guidance as a couple.

19

TWO OF A KINDWhen you join WorldVentures, you become part of another family―one with charismatic leaders and insightful mentors. You’re also exposed to a healthy dose of friendly competition. Stavros and Katerina have soaked it all in, made friends, worked on themselves, learned how to build a business from the ground up, and followed the system.

Like the family they’ve joined, they share similar beginnings, with their story echoing other Rep experiences at the very place that was limiting their dreams: work. And like others members of their new family, if it weren’t for someone—in their case, a woman named Koula, who worked with Katerina—who introduced them to WorldVentures, the couple may still be living the best years of their lives at the office.

“We didn’t know Koula, but she gave us the best present someone could have ever given us: WorldVentures,” Stavros says. “We are so thankful to her and are blessed to have met her.”

Katerina joined WorldVentures first, drawn by the potential for traveling the world, creating a better life—and purchasing a handbag she’d had her eyes on. “I’d been planning to buy a handbag, but I didn’t have the money,” she says. “I believed if I could share the product with enough people, I could buy the handbag.”

Beyond the handbag, Katerina and soon Stavros realized they wanted more out of life than toiling away in an office 10 hours a day for a paycheck. Their best years were slipping through their fingers, and they knew it. WorldVentures could be the key, but they had to commit to it and do whatever it took to achieve their goals.

So, they set to work, creating a four-step process for achieving goals. “First, design in your mind the picture of the target,” Stavros says. “This picture has to be as specific as possible. Second, identify what actions will move you toward your target—and then do them. Third, identify which actions will take you away from your target and don’t do them. And, finally, fourth, take massive action (make things happen).”

It’s a simple process, to be sure, but it’s one that has helped take the couple from a car salesman and secretary to globetrotters—in two short years. But, like most success stories worth talking about, their path hasn’t been without its share of setbacks. In fact, “Success is one step after failure” is a mantra they not only believe, but it’s at the very core of who they are.

“When you fall down, the pain is only temporary. If you try to achieve your goal 100 times, you don’t need to achieve it 100 times—once is enough. Try as many times as it takes to win once.”

“When we were starting out, we suddenly lost 23 people from our team,” Stavros says. “We were just beginning and didn’t know how to handle it. But without thinking too much, we reacted by doubling our action and putting short- and long-term goals in place, and just doing everything we could to reach them. We made the decision to keep moving and keep trying, and eventually, we overcame the challenge and reached Senior Representative.”

“When you fall down, the pain is only temporary,” Katerina adds. “If you try to achieve your goal 100 times, you don’t need to achieve it 100 times—once is enough. Try as many times as it takes to win once.”

“Everything is possible,” Stavros says. “You have to believe in yourself, and if you want things to change, you have to change. Create a dream, and follow it until it becomes a reality. The journey is the reward.”

THIS IS THE LIFETogether, as business partners and husband and wife, they’re leading a team focused on goals, both long term and short term, and working toward the ultimate goal: “to help other people create a better life.”

One way they intend to have a team of IMDs is through personal growth. They’ve learned, as the legendary Jim Rohn so famously said, “Work hard at your job, and you can make a living. Work hard on yourself and you can make a fortune.”

Among their most valuable lessons so far is also one of the simplest: the art of communication. “WorldVentures is a business of communication,” Stavros says. “We deeply believe a lack of communication is the biggest issue for people these days, because everyone is thinking about themselves. Through Dale Carnegie’s lessons in ‘How to Win Friends and Influence People,’ we’ve been able to improve our communication skills. That’s one of the biggest reasons for the success we’re having today, personally and professionally.”

It may be no coincidence then that they consider one of their mentors to be International Director of Training Marc Accetta, a man known throughout WorldVentures for his effective, powerful style of training and communication, as well as his passion for self-development.

“Marc’s one of the most clever and methodical people on the whole planet,” Katerina says. “He taught us that even if you make mistakes in life, you can reprogram the rest of your life the way you want. When we heard him say, ‘We are born to win, but programmed to lose,’ it changed our lives.”

Taking Marc’s lesson to heart, the couple is now living the best years of their lives. Gone are the days of punching time clocks. Now, they’re the embodiment of fun, freedom and fulfillment, traveling, meeting people, living in new places and having positive experiences.

They’re finally seeing what they were missing out on so many years ago.

But, the couple is quick to point out, being successful through WorldVentures isn’t about personal gain; rather, it’s about the kind of impact you have on other people’s lives—that’s what you’ll be remembered for.

“When we began with WorldVentures, we were hoping to achieve financial freedom,” Stavros says. “But through this process, we’ve come to understand that success is about more than how you use it to benefit yourself; it’s about how you use it to give. So, now, our goal is not just to achieve financial freedom for us, but also to help everyone who’s serious about WorldVentures achieve financial freedom.”

Today, within two years’ time, there’s no underestimating the love Stavros and Katerina have for this company. They’ve assembled a strong international team and the business has brought them closer than ever.

“We’re partners in life and also in business,” Katerina says. “WorldVentures has allowed us to share the same vision and be together. It’s been the best journey of our lives. It’s important that we have each other―we think it’s one of our biggest advantages. Sometimes in this business you face difficulties, and because we’re together, we’re responsible and we motivate each other.”

Stavros and Katerina Achieve Goals in 4 Steps1. In your mind, design the picture

of the target. Be as specific as possible.

2. Identify the actions to get to your goal—and do them!

3. Identify the actions that will take you away from your target, and don’t do them!

4. Take massive action and make things happen.

In life, we’ve all experienced moments that can only be described as surreal. Carefully cradling a newborn in your arms

for the first time. Gazing at your wife-to-be as she walks down the aisle, all eyes on her and her eyes on you. Triumphantly crossing the stage, with a wide smile and a firm grip on your diploma.

For Eric Grzybowski, his moment involved almost 7,000 people, all on their feet, their cheers welcoming him on stage to be recognized as WorldVentures’ newest International Marketing Director.

“I was the last guy to go on stage that Saturday night,” he says, reflecting on the moments before the spotlight was on him at last year’s Boot Camp. “It was time for me to go on stage in the late afternoon and I was in the back

by myself and it was just surreal. I had a quiet moment to myself, but I could still hear everyone chanting for me.”

For Eric, a few brief seconds of quiet afforded him the chance to reflect back on his journey with WorldVentures that began almost seven years ago. When he was first introduced to WorldVentures, Eric was making what most would view as a pretty nice living, working for a profitable real estate company.

But, that success came at a price.

“I was time broke,” he says. In other words, working to maintain all he had accomplished left him no time to enjoy the spoils. It was obviously time to find something different, and like so many, Eric discovered that WorldVentures was that something new he needed.

During a business opportunity meeting, Eric met two guys who not only shared a first name, but also the lifestyle Eric knew he wanted.

“People had approached me with other companies, but nothing ever drew me in,” he says. “That night, I met Dave Watson and Dave Pietsch. They were really successful people. They were living a lifestyle I never knew existed and I wanted to do that.”

Despite naysayers—his real estate partners actually sat him down for a presentation on exactly why he should not become a part of WorldVentures—Eric began working earnestly and immediately. Being time broke was no longer an option for him, but WorldVentures was.

And now, after conducting thousands of presentations, flying down countless miles of freeways to travel parties and making who knows how many phone calls, Eric has finally found himself in possession of the time he so desperately desired. And the residual income he earns is just the icing on the cake.

“I didn’t come from money. WorldVentures has allowed me to take my parents to see the world in ways they didn’t get to before.”

26

Page 27: YOUR CONNECTION TO WHAT’S NEW IN WORLDVENTURES …docshare01.docshare.tips/files/25590/255903985.pdf · CONTENTS 3. OUT OF OFFICE Your future is bright. Just ask Roberto Canales

“I definitely feel a sense of accomplishment for sure,” he says. “But, I’m also relieved. It took a long time to get here. “

So now that he is “here,” Eric has made himself busy enjoying the freedom and flexibility he’s earned, and serving as a mentor to those who want to emulate his rise in WorldVentures’ ranks.

“Well, I wake up when I’m tired of sleeping,” he laughs. “I work out and make phone calls to people on my team. I can now do my presentations on the beach if I like,” the Minnesota native, now-Florida resident says.

Eric has been on close to 30 DreamTrips, and counts a birthday trip to Israel, his first international training event in Cyprus and a romantic jaunt to Norway among his favorite so far. But even more special to him are the experiences he can share with others and life-long memories he helps them make.

“I didn’t come from money,” he says. “WorldVentures has allowed me to take my parents to see the world in ways they didn’t get to before. Just last year, I flew my dad to South Africa and we went on a safari. It’s really changed my parents’ lives.”

As he’s carved out his path at WorldVentures, Eric’s life has changed far beyond the level of income earnings. As an IMD, there are thousands of team members looking up to

him as the embodiment of the lifestyle they desire. And though he’s there to serve as motivation for them, on the occasional off day when resting instead of making a phone call or a presentation is exponentially more appealing, Eric turns to WorldVentures rookies to fire him back up.

“I stay around brand new people when I have bad days,” he says. “All I have to do is sponsor a new person and I catch their excitement. New people being recognized makes me realize why I do what I do. The money is great and so is traveling the world. But, the ability to help people and impact

their lives has been the biggest change in my life. I’ve always wanted to do that and WorldVentures is the platform that lets me do it.”

So, what’s next for Eric now that he’s achieved the highest rank one can earn? He just plans to keep on going.

“I’ve always looked at myself as IMD material,” he says. “I just look at this as my first step, not my last one. This is my Super Bowl and I’m going to keep playing the game. This is not work to me. It’s the culture and the people that make this fun.”

For most people in the 9-to-5 grind, work-life balance is a utopian concept befitting science fiction. After all, can one

realistically juggle career and family and give 100 percent to the success of both? Maybe if you’re among the fortunate few living life on your own terms―punching your own clock, and calling all the shots. Maybe, that is, if you’re like Jodie and Shane King―power couple and Regional Marketing Directors for WorldVentures.

“WorldVentures has given us time freedom like we’ve never known,” Jodie shares. “Three years ago, I was a human resources manager, and Shane was a business owner. I had been an HR manager for eight years and Shane owned his business for 10 years. We would get up every morning, go our separate ways to work, work 10-14 hour days, come home for supper, communicate for about an hour and go to bed, just to get up and do the same thing every single day. We totally lived in the box! I was able to walk away from my HR position in five short months, and Shane was able to sell his business within about 17 months of becoming a Rep. Seven months after Shane sold his business, we became $100K ring bearers. Today, we’re both living full time and doing

WorldVentures part time. It’s been a complete life change, and we are blessed beyond measure. We sleep until we are done and do whatever we want, when we want, without anyone saying differently.”

Living full time and working part time. Now that’s a novel concept.

Like many Reps before them, the couple learned of WorldVentures by word-of-mouth. And like many of their WV peers, they were drawn by the DreamTrips promise of exclusive, curated travel experiences at competitively low pricing.

As Jodie explains it, “We were traveling anyway, and we were already telling everyone about our travel and how we booked it. So it was a complete no-brainer to jump on board and get paid for what we were doing already.”

It was Jodie who attended that first presentation meeting, and instantly she saw the earnings and excitement potential. “I knew it would work from Day One. When I brought it home to Shane, he was like, ‘It’s cool… if we save on travel, then it’s a win-win.’ There was never any convincing required. Shane is always 110 percent supportive of everything I do.”

Having labored in their respective fields for so long with marginal rewards, neither of them could fathom a six-figure income, let alone complete financial freedom. Yet they trusted the WV vision enough to stay the course and apply the success principles. And while no one wants to think about it in the honeymoon phase of a new venture, the Kings were savvy enough to know that business partnerships—even couple collaborations—can fail. As prevention, they embraced all the trainings and in calculated fashion defined their roles, breaking down tasks into digestible portions that each of them could manage seamlessly.

“We build together. He bags ‘em and I tag ‘em,” Jodie muses. “He’s a great recruiter. We use all the tools in our tool belt… the audios, videos, handouts… all the training. The system was created years ago, including the one-on-ones, two-on-ones, travel parties, big shot meetings, super Saturdays, regional training events and big events. We have never missed an event and we never will.

“WorldVentures is not just a vacation club. It’s a culture. If you’re looking for a clean break, or looking for love and compassion to the greatest extent, this is where you need to be. The heart and soul of the company outweighs the glitz and glamour every day. We are building a dynasty, not only for ourselves, but for our whole team. The personal growth and development alone has made us stronger as a couple. Being stronger as a couple helps us pour into our team, and make this journey all about them! We all win together.”

“WorldVentures is not just a vacation club. It’s a culture. If you’re looking for a clean break, or looking for love and compassion to the greatest extent, this is where you need to be.”

BY MICHAEL LEWIS

A Family AffairJim, Donna, Jeff and Lexie Chambers, Marketing Directors, United States

When Jeff Chambers found WorldVentures in 2007, he was working full time with Motorola.

He had some quick success sharing it with his friends and family, except for two people who mattered most―his parents. They were the last ones on his list to show because of some previous “ventures” he had shared with them. A few months after getting started, Jeff gained the confidence to contact his parents about WorldVentures. As he excitedly spoke about the company, Jim and Donna weren’t exactly shy in voicing their displeasure.

“To say they were skeptical at first would be a huge understatement,” Jeff says with a big laugh.

“He had us on the phone for an hour and a half, telling us this was a great idea, and we weren’t buying any of it,” Jim Chambers says.

Jim and Donna have been together for 27 years and are both retired Chief Master Sergeants (E9) from the Air Force, and were looking for a new challenge in their lives when Jeff began his WorldVentures career.

The DreamTrips concept piqued Jim and Donna’s curiosity because of the potential to spend more time with their three children and seven grandchildren.

That led to a lot of research on the company, and eventually attending a WorldVentures event in New York in 2008 led by Dave and

Yvette Ulloa. Finally, they were convinced that their son had found a good idea all along.

“It’s the best thing that’s ever happened to us,” Donna says. “The journey we’ve been on, the lives we’ve changed… doing this has changed us completely as people, and made us much happier.”

Jeff and his wife Lexie, who live in North Carolina and keep a vacation home in Florida, and Jim and Donna, who split their time between North Carolina and Pennsylvania, each mentioned how WorldVentures had given them the gift of family togetherness above all else.

“We were all always too busy to travel; we were ‘time broke,’” Jim says. “Now putting our family back together and sharing these great memories on DreamTrips is something I never knew could happen.”

For Jeff, the goal of being a WorldVentures Rep full time is one of his biggest dreams. He says that without the support of Lexie watching their kids, he wouldn’t have been able to do half of what he’s accomplished so far.

“I’ve had a taste of living full time and it’s so much better than I ever thought,” he says. “You hear about it, but it’s a thousand times better than what you’re told.”

Jeff sums up his success succinctly, saying that while “a lot of people spend a lot of time trying

to turn a ‘no’ into a ‘yes,’” he wastes little time trying to convince the doubters.

Jim and Donna approach the business from different perspectives, which helps them build their team. Jim is the more serious one, while Donna has a lighter touch.

Each admits that working together has made them rub off on each other a bit.

“We’ve both been amazed at the feeling of changing people’s lives,” Donna says. “We’ve taken people on vacation who’ve never been on a plane before, and watching their eyes light up at these new experiences has been life-changing for us, too.”

Donna says the key to their success is never missing a major event and truly plugging in to the training, something Jeff mentions is crucial as well.

“The biggest thing I came to the table with, and I have to thank my parents for instilling this in me, is to never quit,” Jeff says. “Embracing the struggle is something I really believe in.”

As they continue their journeys together, this family admits that there’s a little bit of competition among the three.

“We have a race to see who’s going to be Regional Marketing Director first,” Jeff says with a chuckle. “I’m ahead right now, but I would never bet against my dad in anything.”

A “no-brainer.” That’s how Mitch Gonzalez described his decision to join WorldVentures. And when one of the

most “Influential Young Professionals” in the state of Colorado makes a statement like that, people tend to listen.

A Director with WorldVentures, Mitch is a Colorado native and a graduate of the University of Denver. But, exploring the world beyond the Rocky Mountain state was always his dream.

“My passion was tourism,” he shares. “When I went to college, I wanted to work in the hotel industry.”

Mitch refocused that passion after returning from a study abroad trip his junior year in college. Though his employer promised his job would be held for him until he returned from his overseas trip, he found himself unemployed once he returned to the States. Coincidentally, not too much later, a high school friend introduced him to WorldVentures.

Mitch was immediately intrigued.

“Just the travel side alone was a no-brainer to me,” he says. “And the business was appealing too, especially for those who understand the costs of owning and running a traditional business.”

Mitch is no stranger to the nuances involved with business ownership. With a father who

owned an electrical company and uncles who owned construction-related companies, it was only natural for him to be drawn to that industry. In 2009, he started his own construction company, MGC Services Corp.; the firm has completed several projects for Denver-area businesses, including the Denver Zoo and Denver Public Schools.

But, the travel bug still had a hold of him and while operating his construction company, he remained active in WorldVentures.

“I haven’t set any speed records with WorldVentures, but I really started clicking with David Townsend, Brian and Sarah Brown and Lorenzo Roybal,” Mitch says. “I didn’t make a lot of money the first couple of years, but I hung out with them and started going to the trainings and on DreamTrips. It was good because I was seeing the struggle that everyone’s gone through.” Despite his “non-record breaking” status, Mitch has built a respectable team of Reps across the country and embarked on many trips just in 2013 alone.

With all of this success under his belt, it’s no wonder that Mitch was recently recognized as one of Colorado’s “Most Influential Young Professionals” by ColoradoBIZ magazine. More than 380 business owners submitted applications and during a dinner for the Top 25, Mitch learned (in front of almost 400 people) that he was one of the “Gen XYZ” Top 5.

“It felt awesome, though it was a surprise,” Mitch says. “I had a lot of WorldVentures and family members present. It felt like all of my hard work over the past five or six years came together. Moments like that, you only dream of.”

An admitted introvert, Mitch credits his WorldVentures training and continued focus on self-development as one of the reasons he’s flourished both professionally and personally.

“I definitely did not like speaking in public,” he laughs. “I remember the first time I did a presentation. There were two Reps there and one guest. I was really nervous and I think the guy signed up thinking, ‘If he can, then I definitely can,’ but, I’m a lot more comfortable now.”

“I think all of the trainings are great for those in WorldVentures,” he continues, “but they can be applied to everyday life. I use them with my construction business as well.” So far, attending both Journey and the View have been Mitch’s favorite training events, because of the personalized and intimate setting and the focus on personal growth and building belief, respectively.

So, what’s next for this enterprising and influential young man? Well, anything he wants.

“My goal is to have a 15-hour work week,” Mitch says. “Gain some time freedom. I want to continue to see more of the world and this is how I’m going to do it.”

BY SCOTT KRAMER

A Fresh Start Caitlin and Justin Licata, Senior Representatives, United States

Birmingham, Ala., couple Caitlin and Justin Licata are on a roll. After marrying in May, they’re now

teaming up as part-time WorldVentures Senior Representatives.

Their story started a few years ago, when Caitlin was a resident assistant in an Auburn University dorm, where Justin lived. They began dating in early 2011. A few months later, Caitlin’s parents—who had recently joined WorldVentures—showed the young couple a company presentation.

“We weren’t interested in joining,” recalls Caitlin. “But in the next six months, I saw my parents building their business and started to believe in the company but not in myself. I was making all sorts of excuses (to not join), but in December when my parents told me they were signing two Auburn students, alarms went off in my head and the fear of loss kicked in. I called Justin and told him that I didn’t care if he worked it or not, but I thought it would be a mistake to not at least give it a shot. He told me he’d support me. So we joined the next day.” And they began working together.

Then in the past year, Justin—a web developer—started putting more effort toward building a start-up business, a fashion site called The Modern Trunk. Still, he fully supported Caitlin. By trade, she’s a social worker who’s had three different jobs since

graduation: One ended due to layoffs, another to a cancelled contract and the third is going fine so far.

“Both of us have always been very driven,” says Caitlin. “While we may not be the most talented or have the most skill, we will outwork others. To stay motivated, I read 10 pages each day and go to all of the trainings. When I stop doing these, it definitely affects my motivation. I encourage my team to attend trainings and we have a weekly team dinner, so members can discuss their accomplishments and help motivate each other.”

The journey’s also “been incredible” for Justin, who says “because of WorldVentures, I’ve been able to put my efforts into building The Modern Trunk, and take some incredible trips. We even got engaged on the MegaDreamTrip to Cancun in 2012.” As his start-up gains momentum, he aspires to make WorldVentures full time.

The couple believes that WorldVentures has given them the confidence to think outside the box, and the people they’ve met through the process have changed their lives, as well. “It’s wonderful to be surrounded by other positive people with goals they’re working toward,” admits Caitlin, who says she sells many memberships by doing one-on-one presentations to friends and family and showing a video. “After I have a personal join, we schedule meetings as soon as possible

to get them going. We continue doing this with each person who joins. I absolutely love the new ‘Vacation Sooner’ video. It’s the only way I’m exposing people at this time, other than when we have big events.”

The couple agrees that the best part of the experience has been seeing people they care about thriving personally and in business. “I enjoy that the whole family is part of it, and we’re getting to spend so much time with them,” says Justin. “My parents, in-laws, wife’s grandparents, uncles and aunts are all in WorldVentures and it’s a special feeling to see them enjoy the business and succeed in it. We have three Senior Reps in the family, so we’re in the process of creating a WorldVentures dynasty. Watch out!”

“I encourage my team to attend trainings and we have a weekly team dinner, so members can discuss their accomplishments and help motivate each other.”

WorldVentures Marketing, LLC—USA & CanadaAnnual Income Disclosure Statement

WorldVentures has designed its compensation plan to reward Independent Sales Representatives for: (1) successfully making personal sales of WorldVentures’ retail products (DreamTrips, DreamTrips Life and Luxury DreamTrips memberships); and (2) successfully building sales organizations by recruiting, training and motivating other team members to do the same. Below is an income breakdown for fiscal year 2011 in the United States.

During the period October 2011 to September 2012, 19.82% of all Independent Representatives (“IRs”) earned a commission or override, while 80.18% did not. The average annual commission or override earnings of all IRs, including those who did not earn a commission or override, was $190.15. The average annual commission or override earnings or that group of IRs who earned a commission or override was $957.12, and the median was $40.00. The data presented in the table above is based only on those IRs who earned a commission or override within the time period of October 2011 to September 2012.Notes:1. All amounts are represented in U.S. dollars.2. These figures do not represent Representatives’ profits, nor do they consider expenses incurred by Representatives in the promotion of their business.3. Promotion levels represented in the table are based on ranks achieved at the end of the year.4. An Independent Representative is one whose Independent Representative agreement was accepted by WorldVentures within the 12-month period preceding

the last day of the fiscal year displayed.5. An active Representative is one:

a. whose Independent Representative Agreement is in good standing and who has made a sale of a WorldVentures product within the 12-month period preceding the last day of the fiscal year displayed; or

b. who has earned a commission or override with WorldVentures within the 12-month period preceding the last day of the fiscal year displayed.6. Figures are for the U.S. market after five full years of operation. Figures may not reflect incomes in newly or less-established WorldVentures markets.

There are no guarantees regarding income. The success or failure of each Independent Representative in WorldVentures, like any other business, depends on the Independent Representative’s own skill, dedication, personal effort and leadership qualities.
