Launching a COM profile on the UIAA Network

The Project

To build a COM profile on the UIAA Network that will help connect COM alumni and students to each other, and to the University

• Professional networking• Search functionality for advance search by specialty,

region, hospital/clinic, etc.• Calendar of upcoming events and activities by region• Communication portal and tool for information sharing – us to you, you to us

Project Next Steps

Received approval from the Medical Alumni Council (Chicago)

Work with UIAA to develop timeline for development, deployment and launch

Create UIAA Network Development Committee (reporting to Medical Alumni Council) to work on implementation

• Representative from each Class Board (alumni liaison or webmaster)• Alumni Council members • Other alumni• Advancement staff
