Welcome to My CaymanAbout the creator of Cayman Treasures
Casandra Hibbert was born right here in the Cayman Islands
and remembers being told tales of Cayman at home and in school.
Casandra was proud of her history and wanted to find a way
to share her home and its culture with others, especially children,
in ways that would be both fun and exciting.
“Just reading through ‘Cayman Treasures’ and looking
at the pictures is interesting and educational.
From our white sandy beaches to our silver thatch palms…
there are so many little things that make up the beauty of
the Cayman Islands. I think all Caymanians should know and feel proud
of our heritage. That’s why we have created this little piece to
share with our guests, friends and family who visit our Islands…
I really wanted to do something to contribute
to the islands I love so much.”
