Our brokerage agency has been providing health, life and Medicare insurance options, along with a variety of other prod- ucts since 1997. Young, co-owner ***Season’s Greetings!*** We hope this newsletter finds you well! During this beautiful time of year, we stop and reflect on all the blessings God has given us, both personally as well as an agency. We are grateful for so much. To start, the YIS agency wishes to thank our families for their support and patience during the busy annual review season. We want to thank our agents and staff who put in so many hours to ensure that each client had, and continues to have, the coverage they need, along with the quality customer service they deserve. Lastly, whether you’re a long-time client, or new to the YIS family, we want to send a special thank you to each and every one of you for your confidence in us. Thank you also for your patience, referrals, and all your seasonal good will! Most importantly, thank you for your trust in our services. Enjoy this abridged holiday issue, and best wishes for a happy, healthy, New Year! What’s New Affordable Care Act Update The biggest change for 2017 takes place in our local five county area of Montgomery, Chester, Bucks, Philadelphia and Delaware. In 2016, three companies offered plans in this area: Aetna, United Healthcare, and Independence Blue Cross. For 2017 however, Blue Cross is the only company that will offer an ACA compliant plan on the marketplace. On top of that, Blue Cross raised their premiums roughly 20-40% for next year—but the government did increase the premium tax credit they are giving to consumers, which will help offset the increase. However, for those who do not qualify for a subsidy, their health insurance will increase substantially. Take A Look Kitchen Gadgets Preparing holiday meals can be a challenge, so any time-saving tricks can help! I stumbled across two gadgets that work well, and range between $10-$15 each. Fairview Office Plaza ♦ 2933 West Germantown Pike Building 2 ♦ Suite 200 ♦ Eagleville, PA 19403 They can be found in many stores that sell kitchen supplies or online and are both easy to clean. The first one is the Clever Cutter 2-in-1 Food Chopper Cutting Board. This gizmo works well and eliminates me from pulling out my knife and cutting board. It didn’t take long to get comfortable using it either. It looks like a pair of scissors, but the bottom blade is a little 1” cutting board. I use it to cut veggies, cheese, meats, and small potatoes. The second gadget I use is my Herb Scissors. They also eliminate the need to use a cutting board. Chop herbs right over the stove directly into the pots! I love how these make chopping herbs less messy. I also use them to make any dish look professionally garnished! (Antoinette & Dan’s youngest son, age 71/2) Jake is doing well! His baby teeth are falling out, he’s active and has developed quite a sense of humor! He’s loving sports and he reads a lot. In school, he’s preparing for his First Holy Communion, learning cursive hand- writing, and excited about the holiday vacation! Thanks so much! We want to take a moment and sincerely thank each of you who sent so many referrals our way AND gave us such wonderful reviews on our website and Face- book! Winter Morning Poem by Ogden Nash Winter is the king of showmen Turning tree stumps into snow men And houses into birthday cakes And spreading sugar over lakes Smooth and clean and frosty white The world looks good enough to bite That's the season to be young Catching snowflakes on your tongue Snow is snowy when it's snowing I'm sorry it's slushy when it's going

Recipes Pillsbury™ Holiday Treats! Ingredients; 1 can Pillsbury™ refrigerated cinnamon rolls with icing, 1/2 teaspoon colored sugar and wax or parchment paper. Directions; Place wax paper on baking pan. Arrange rolls (touching) in one, large holiday shape, such as a tree, star, or snowman. Loosely place strips of foil around outside edges to prevent excessive browning. Bake as directed on package. When done, lift wax paper up, enabling you to transfer shape onto a platter. Loosen the shaped rolls carefully with spatula to slide out wax paper. Frost warm rolls with icing and decorate with red and green sprinkles!
