Yet even in his disease he did not seek the LORD, but sought help from physicians.

Page 12: You will disappoint people; but you’re not a disappointment

I’m disappointed in myself.

Page 13: You will disappoint people; but you’re not a disappointment

I let people down.

Page 14: You will disappoint people; but you’re not a disappointment

I don’t measure up to other people.

Page 15: You will disappoint people; but you’re not a disappointment

I don’t have a list of accomplishments (or even things I’d like to accomplish).

Page 16: You will disappoint people; but you’re not a disappointment

Don’t confuse your disappointments; with believing you are a disappointment.

Page 17: You will disappoint people; but you’re not a disappointment

God sees our disappointments, but He doesn’t see us as a disappointment.

Page 18: You will disappoint people; but you’re not a disappointment

God is not disappointed in us;but He is disappointed for us.

Page 19: You will disappoint people; but you’re not a disappointment

Start with confession, not trying harder.

Page 20: You will disappoint people; but you’re not a disappointment

Psalm 32:3; 5 When I kept silent about my sin, my body wasted away through my groaning all day long. 5 I acknowledged my sin to you, and I did not cover my

iniquity; I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord,” and you forgave the iniquity of my sin.

Page 21: You will disappoint people; but you’re not a disappointment

Live for God’s approval; not man’s.

Page 22: You will disappoint people; but you’re not a disappointment

Galatians 1:10 For am I now seeking the approval of man, or of God? Or am I trying to please man? If I were still trying to please man, I would not be a

servant of Christ.

Page 23: You will disappoint people; but you’re not a disappointment

See yourself as a child; not as a hired hand.

Page 24: You will disappoint people; but you’re not a disappointment

Galatians 4:1; 7 I mean that the heir, as long as he is a child, is no different from a slave, though he is the owner of everything….. 7 So you are no longer a

slave, but a son, and if a son, then an heir through God.

Page 25: You will disappoint people; but you’re not a disappointment

Hear His delight in you, not His disgust with you.

Page 26: You will disappoint people; but you’re not a disappointment

Zephaniah 3:17 The LORD your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing.
