ENTRANCE
<music> <Your chocie>
Celebrant: We are about to begin, could I ask that you all form an arch, to show your affection for this wonderful couple.
Before we continue, <Groom> and <Bride> have asked me to make certain you have all either turn your phones off, or placed them on flight mode so that they won’t ring, buzz or vibrate, so, we are not distracted during this wonderful occasion. Do that now please.
<pause>
If your phone does ring, it goes into a bucket or water for storage. I understand that <Bride> has done just that at least once before.

<Groom> & <Bride> have also asked me to remind you to NOT post any pictures on Facebook until we have finished her today. We want you to be a part of this ceremony and not be distracted by social media.
So, there will be a number of important things that will now take place:
• We will have a candle lighting
• <Bride> and <Groom> will exchange rings & vows,
• They and witnesses, will then sign the marriage register,
• When that is all complete, you will be asked to all gather around for a group photo…
…but I will remind you of that later.
<Groom> and <Bride>, please stand together to my right/left
<pause>

Celebrant: On behalf of <Bride> & <Groom>, thank you, everyone, for coming today. You are very special to them. My name is Ludwig Szymkow, you may call me Lou, and I am very honoured to have been invited by <Bride> & <Groom> to help them, and you, to celebrate this amazing turning point in their lives. I am the registered marriage celebrant authorised to solemnise this marriage according to the law. <Groom> and <Bride>; please take each other hands as I say, before you are joined in marriage in my presence, and in the presence of these witnesses, I am to remind you of the solemn and binding nature of the relationship into which you are now about to enter.

Marriage, according to law in Australia, is the union of two people to the exclusion of all others, voluntarily entered into for life.
MEMORIAL
<Bride> and <Groom>, you have gathered your dearest friends and family so that you they all share in this great event in your lives. However, there are some loved ones that are not able to be with us today and so we will now honour their presence in our hearts and thoughts. <Groom> and <Bride> will now light this candle in their memory and in so doing are bringing the light of those loved ones to be with us today. <Groom> and <Bride> together light the candle> <Then return to centre and face candle>
This candle will continue to burn throughout this Ceremony.

Celebrant <Bride>, and <Groom>, have you chosen freely to come here today to enter into marriage
<Bride> & <Groom> Yes Celebrant In presenting yourselves here today to be
joined in marriage, you perform an act of faith.
This faith can grow and develop and last, but only if you both decide to make it so. A lasting and growing love is not guaranteed by any ritual. You have the foundation of your marriage in the devotion you have for one another, not just at this moment, but for all the days to come, Treasure the hopes and dreams that you bring here today. Establish that your love will never be tarnished by the common nor obscured by the ordinary in life.

Dedication, love, and joy can grow only when you nourish them together. Stand fast in that hope and confidence, having faith in your shared destiny just as strongly as you have faith in yourselves and in one another today. You can create a union that will strengthen and endure all the days of your lives.
RINGS & VOWS
Celebrant Could we have the rings please.
<ring bearers/s name>, could you please bring the rings forward
< ring bearers/s> walks up with rings on a pillow> <ring bearers/s name> stands with the Celebrant>
A wedding ring is traditionally made of gold. A precious metal to symbolise precious love.
But it is more than that.

The unending circle of the ring is a symbol of eternity. And so, these two wedding rings are the outward expression of the bonding of two hearts; it is the promise of love of each other with fidelity for all time; it is the promise of faithfulness to each other. Wearing these wedding bands throughout your lifetime will be a reminder to you and to all, of today, and will tell all others of this commitment of love and faith, you have made.
Celebrant: <Groom>, this ring is a symbol of your
unending love.
Please place it on the ring finger of <Bride>’s left hand so that it is closest to her heart.
