Gracious and awesome God, You raised your Son from death and placed him at your right hand above all rule and power. Forgive us for failing to acknowledge this in our day to day lives. The presence of our reigning Lord and King Jesus Christ fills the whole universe with your power, and yet we have failed to make space for Him. Forgive us for not acknowledging your constant presence in our lives. Help us to live less for ourselves as we claim the presence, power, and reign of your Son each day that we live. ORDER OF WORSHIP GETTING INVOLVED IN MINISTRY

GARDENS OF VENICE MINISTRY — Each week Trinity provides a brief (30 minute) worship service at the Gardens of Venice Assisted Living Facility at 1:10pm. If you enjoy ministering to others—we invite you to be a part of this ministry. For more information call Juanita at the church office (941-493-0018 X 224). Our team this week includes: Susan & Walter Brembs, Brenda Ward, Juanita Fauser, and Mona Lee Burr, Pianist. WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY — The Gospel of Mark Bible Study is going strong and bursting at the seams with 30 plus women attending, but there is always room for more. They meet on Tuesday mornings at 10am in classroom 1. It isn’t too late to join this lively group study. Hope to see you there! MEN’S FELLOWSHIP LUNCHEON— The Men’s luncheon group will resume after the summer break. They will meet on the second Monday of each month, November 12, this month. Please contact Jim Phillips for details and reservations (941-474-1630). BOOK SORTING & SHELVING — We need a few volunteers to assist with unpacking, sorting, and re-shelving our church library books. This will take place on Wednesday, October 31 from 9-11am. Call Randy Clements for more details (703-598-8571. BRIDGE — Do you enjoy playing a friendly game of Bridge? We have a small group of men and women who gather on Monday afternoons at 1pm, (closed when church office is closed), until about 4pm. If interested in playing, contact Doris Kerper (941-882-3263 or Bernice Soderberg (941-496-4351). EUCHRE—will meet this Thursday, November 1. They meet every other Thursday in classroom 1 at 6:30pm. On Sunday, November 4, we will observe All Saints’ Day at Trinity Church with Holy Communion at both services. There will be a special time of remembrance to those members and friends who have entered the presence of Christ this past year.
