Low energy transducer
After transmission, the transducer will detect severalechoes from the target.
The statistical calculation will be based on these echoes, giving a more accurate average.

When SmartScan is reopened, ensure that you replace the O-ring, in order that the unit will remain sealed. The O-ring is suitable for one use only.
In order to ensure that the unit remains sealed, make sure to use round cables for (glands fitting) with a minimum of 6-7 mm diameter.
Important Notes

SmartScan 25 and 50
The sensor should always be mounted above it’s dead zone. If the device enter its blocking distance it will not measure correctly.
If possible, the sensor should be centered or at least 0.5m from sidewalls.
Important Notes
You Can Measure the Benefits…
The sensor should be placed as far as possible from filling or other noisy inlets.
The sensor should preferably be installed when the tank is empty or at least at the minimum application level.
The sensor should be mount as perpendicular as possible

Notes:• When using a guided pipe the sensor should be mount at the center of the pipe and the pipe should
be parallel to tank’s wall. •It is strongly recommended to use Scan Distance when installing through a guided pipe.
• For any pipe material’s beside plastic please consult factory prior installation.
