YOUR REPUTATION PRECEDES YOU Don’t be caught off guard by your company’s online reputation. Every company and small business should be aware of what consumers, business partners, marketers, employees, personal contacts and others are saying about them across the Internet. TAKE CONTROL Don’t let your online reputation leave you vulnerable. CONSIDER THESE QUESTIONS • Do you know what people are saying about you, your products, and your services? • Who cares about your online reputation? • Is negative perception damaging your bottom line? • Do you know how to respond to criticism? • When people search for your company, what are they seeing? • Do you need to grow an online reputation?

Show-Me Heroes Chamber Challenge Award
The Kirksville Area Chamber of Commerce was recently awarded a Bronze Level award for the Show-Me Heroes Chamber Challenge 2015. This award is given to Missouri Chambers of Commerce who have at least 10% of their members take the Show-Me Heroes pledge to hire veterans. Kirksville Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Director, Sandra Williams, and Justin Hirniak, local Veteran’s Representative, attended an awards ceremony at the Secretary of State Office building in Jefferson City on May 25, 2016. The Director of the Show-Me Heroes program, Major Michelle Matthews, and Amy Sublett, Director of MO Division of Workforce Development, presented the Chamber with a certificate and plaque. Two other Chambers in the state, Rolla and Waynesville/St. Robert received the bronze award in the same ceremony. Kirksville Area Chamber of Commerce encourages local businesses to sign the Show-Heroes pledge. For more information visit ShowMeHeroes.mo.gov.
