NCC REPORT 2015-16

Yoga capsules in connection with International Yoga Day on 21 June 2015 were held

on 3rd and 4th June 2015 at college Basketball Stadium.

Our cadets participated in ‘‘Ennaleyil Ninnum Nalayethedi’’ programme organised by

Kerala Social Security Mission on June 13th 2015. They visited the houses of elderly

persons and interacts with them.

International Yoga Day was celebrated on June 21 2015 under the supervision of 14

(K) Bn. All cadets from our unit participated in this mega event held at Indoor

Stadium at Pramadam.

Our cadets participated in a rally organised by excise department in connection with

International Day Against Drug Abuse and illicit trafficking on 26/8/2015.

Enrolment for first year cadet was held on 3/08/15.Lt Col U.K Nair Commanding Officer 14

(K) Bn NCC Pathanamthitta selected cadets based on personal interview and physical fitness

test. More than 100 students from various departments have participated in it.

Our 5 SD and 5 SW were attended the Independence day parade at district stadium organised

by district administration. The rest of the other cadets attended flag hoisting ceremony at

college.

CAMPS

COMBINED ANNUAL TRAINING CAMP

15 SD and 9 SW were attended the Combined Annual Training Camp at SVGV HSS

Angadical from 21 August 2015 to 30 August 2015.

BASIC LEADERSHIP CAMPS

Amal V Shaji, Gokul.R.Nair and Shani Shaji were attended Basic Leadership Camp at

St.Stephans college, Kothavara Vaikom from 22/8/15 to 30/8/15.

NATIONAL INTEGRATION CAMPS

Hareendran R participated in National Integration Camp held at Jeetnagar from 5th Jan 2016

to 16th Jan 2016.

Aparna Mohan (D2 Economics) were selected to attend NIC held at Kozhikode from 19th December

to 30th December 2015.

TREKKING CAMPS

Akshay Kumar (D2 Physics) successfully completed All India Trekking Expedition at JNV, Kulamav

from 24 Oct 2015 to 31 October 2015..

REPUBLIC DAY CAMP

Aparna Mohan (D2 Economics), Akshay Kumar (D2Physics), attended RD

preparatory camp at MGM HS Thrivalla and St.Thomas College,Pala.

AKHIL KRISHNA SELECTED TO REPUBLIC DAY PARADE AT DEHI.

ARMY ATTACHMENT CAMP

Following five cadets were selected to Army Attachment camp with 4 Bihar at

pangode, Trivandrum from 15th February 2016 to 29 February 2016.

CPL Sooryakanth B (D2 Zoology) secured first prize in state level Balajana Council

Meeting Held at Old Legislative Assembly Hall, Trivandrum, in association with

World Elderly Day observance 2015 organised by Kerala Social Security Mission.

Our SD cadets assisted Police department for the smooth conduct of local body

elections 2015.

Our cadets donated blood in the blood donation camp organised by Red Ribbon Club

of Catholicate College, Pathanamthitta on 19/10/15.

Army Selection

Gokul Aji (D2 Physics) and Arun B (D2 Zoology) were selected to Army in the

Army recruitment rally held at Pangode, Trivandrum.

First Parade was started on 19/09/2015

Organised rally with ‘FIGHT AGAINST TERRORISAM’ as a theme in connection

with NCC DAY CELEBRATION on 21/11/2015

Sponsored Lunch at district hospital pathanamthitta in connection with NCC DAY

CELEBRATION on 22/11/2015

Participated Nature study camp at Idukki Wild Life Santury, Vellapara from 8th

Janury to 10th Janury 2016.Total 30 cadets from our unit participated in it.

‘B’ Certificate Examination

‘B’ certificate examination were held at Baselius College Kottayam on 13/02/2016.

Theory paper was there in the morning session from 10:00 to 1300 hrs followed by

practical’s in the afternoon. Total of 34 (SD 25 + SW 9) cadets appeared for the exam

‘C’ Certificate Examination

‘C’ certificate examination were held at BCM College Kottayam on 28/02/2016.

Theory paper was there in the morning session from 10:00 to 1300 hrs followed by

practical’s in the afternoon. Total of 22 (SD 9 + SW 13) cadets appeared for the exam
