WHO WE ARE
You’re My Hero® is the brainchild of professionalspeaker and author Barry Spilchuk. Dubbed asCanada's Dale Carnegie, Barry co-authored of one ofCanada’s top selling books in the Chicken Soup for theSoul® series, A Cup of Chicken Soup for the Soul®.
Barry was not only the first Canadian affiliated with Chicken Soup forthe Soul® but was also the first male to co-author a book for the wildlysuccessful series. A Cup of Chicken Soup for the Soul® sold an out-standing 580,000 copies and earned Barry the title of Canada’s ChickenSoup Guy. ���
In 2009, Barry joined forces with Sarah Freeman and Sasha Marusichto create YMH Media Corporation (YMH). YMH creates and publishesYou’re My Hero® Books - a new inspirational book series in which every-day people write stories about their everyday heroes, people who inspire,who excite and who educate as a result of their actions. The You’re MyHero® book series provides a venue for the kinds of stories that almostall of us have, but rarely share beyond our friends and family. �
Additionally, and just as importantly, You’re My Hero®books offers a unique and new means of raising fundsfor causes we hold dear - for our communities, organizations, schools, foundations and charities. To date, four You’re My Hero® books have been published; the first for the city of North Bay, Ontario,Canada (Pictured left), which resulted in over $27,000being donated to North Bay community charities.

COMPANY PROFILE
The second and third bookswere created by studentsand teachers for two schoolboards; The Northern OntarioCatholic School Board andthe Toronto Catholic SchoolBoard.
The first of these two books(above left) was created as a fundraising initiative andthe second (above right) as amulti school communityawareness initiative.
The fourth and most recentbook (pictured above) is the firstNational book in the YMH series; You’re My Hero™ GirlGuides of Canada-Guides duCanada (2010,) created tocelebrate the 100th Anniver-sary of Girl Guides in Canadaand to raise funds for GirlGuides of Canada. There arenow several new titles in development both in Canadaand the United States.
Our goal in all books is twofold:Firstly: to give people every-where the opportunity to shareinspiring, heartfelt stories aboutthe everyday heroes in our lives- to inspire the readers andrecognize our personal heroes.
Secondly: to help worthy and important foundations,charities and not-for-profitorganizations raise funds andhelp promote and developawareness of their causesthrough the stories that areshared in the book.
The book and the stories alsotend to create a more definedand closely felt sense of community amongst the supporters of the group, thewriters whose stories appearin the book, and the readers.

If/when possible, Jays CareFoundation will utilize a portion
of its allotment of in-game, on-air broadcast reads to promote the project in an effort to generate story
submissions and highlight thebook as a fundraising initiative.

SPONSORSHIP ANDADVERTISING OPPORTUNITIES
There are various sponsorship and advertising
opportunities available:• One single presenting
sponsor or benefactor with no other sponsors
• Multiple sponsors for chapters and special sections
• National advertisers• Sponsor Gift Cards could beinserted into the book that
have the same or higher valuethan the price of the book.
eg: 20.00 gift card for Rogersproducts or 20.00 gift card
from McDonalds.Revenues from sponsorship or advertising would be split between YMH and Jays Care
Foundation.
BENEFACTOR OPPORTUNITIES
In some cases, a benefactor orsponsor may wish to underwritethe cost of publishing a certain
number of books. This option makespossible special regional print runswith a minimum order of 10,000
books prominently displaying the benefactor as the presenter
of the book. In such a case, 100% ofthe selling price of the book would
go to Jays Care Foundation.
BOOK SIGNINGS MAJOR BOOK LAUNCH at ROGERS CENTRE after a
Home game. Hold other booklaunch events with players to sign
the books.

CHARITY COMPONENTAs a supporter of Minor League
Baseball in Canada, and in particular,Baseball Canada, the book could be
made available to Little Leagueteams to sell as a fundraiser across
the country.The book could also feature a special
chapter of stories submitted by Little League Players.
The funds raised as a result of thesesales would be split 50/50 betweenThe Jays Care Foundation and the
team that sold the book.
