PERIOD OF TIME.

A TOMB IS A PLACE BELOW GROUND WHERE

A PERSON IS BURIED. IT MARKS WHERE A

PERSON IS LAID TO REST.

EXAMPLE:

IN EGYPTIAN MYTHOLOGY, MUMMIES WERE

BURIED IN A TOMB WITHIN A PYRAMID.

PERCHED

PERCHED IS WHERE SOMEONE OR SOMETHING IS SAT ON SOMETHING WHICH IS HIGH UP OR NARROW. IT CAN BE WHERE SOMETHING IS ON THE EDGE OF SOMETHING.

EXAMPLE:

THE BIRD WAS PERCHED CAREFULLY ON THE EDGE OF THE BRANCH, SCANNING THE GROUND BELOW IT.

ELITES

ELITE MEANS A GROUP OR PERSON

WHO IS SUPERIOR OR ABOVE OTHERS

IN A GROUP OR AROUND THEM.

EXAMPLE;

USAIN BOLT WAS AN ELITE ATHLETE.

HE WAS IN A GROUP OF ELITES FOR

HIS RUNNING CAPABILITIES.

PANORAMIC

PANORAMIC IS A WIDE VIEW, IT IS SWEEPING ACROSS.

EXAMPLE;

THE PANORAMIC VIEWS ACROSS THE LAKE WERE SPECTACULAR.

SPECTACLES

SPECTACLES ARE A DISPLAY OR SHOW. IT IS ALSO ANOTHER WORD FOR GLASSES!

EXAMPLE;

LIKE WHEN WE LOOKED AT ADDING FRACTIONS, WE NEED TO

HAVE THE DENOMINATORS THE SAME. THIS MIGHT MEAN

THAT WE NEED TO MULTIPLY THE FRACTION. WE NEED TO

REMEMBER TO DO THE SAME TO THE TOP AS WE DO TO THE

BOTTOM!

THE DENOMINATOR DOES NOT CHANGE AS THEY ARE THE

SAME, JUST LIKE WHEN WE ARE ADDING.

THESE DENOMINATORS ARE DIFFERENT SO WE NEED TO

CHANGE ONE.

LOOK AT 4/10.

WE CAN MULTIPLY THIS BY 2, SO THE DENOMINATOR IS 20.
