Special Luncheons with Our Employees

The employees in operations participated in this holiday celebration at all the mobile dining rooms at the Pribbenow and El Descanso mines.

Employees at Puerto Drummond also celebrated Christmas with a special breakfast, during which the Area Managers expressed their gratitude for the employees’ hard work and dedication to each task. During the celebration, Employees learned about the Safety Campaign, “

What Can you Do to Take Care of your Life?” In a video, several of their co-workers talked about the different actions they take as part of their daily work, living out safety as a lifestyle; a lifestyle that has even carried over into their homes.

Christmas Gatherings - Valledupar Office

The employees at the office in Valledupar also celebrated Christmas by getting together for the traditional Novena de Aguinaldos, where prayers are recited for nine days before Christmas.

Our Social Responsibility

Corpocesar and Drummond Ltd. brought the movie called Magia Salvaje (Wild Magic) to students in El Paso, Becerril, La Jagua and La Victoria de San Isidro. The film displays the wealth of the country’s biodiversity and the important role each person plays in taking care of the environment.

Kaleb Villalobos, Director of Corpocesar, and Armando Calvano, Director of the Environmental Compensation Area at Drummond Ltd., emphasized how important environmental education is to the conservation of the environment to the students.

Gifts Delivered to Communities in the Caporo Norte

Project’s Area of Influence

Drummond’s Hydrocarbons and Mineral Exploration Division, delivered 613 gifts to the boys

and girls in the communities of La Aurora, Ojo de Agua, Los Cerrajones, and Mechoacán, as

part of its social investment in the framework of the Caporo Norte Project. The presidents of

the different community action boards and the community councils of black communities in La

Aurora and Los Cerrajones also participated in the event.

Campaign by Drummond Employees

Once again, out of a desire to spread joy and love, Drummond’s employees joined efforts to take gifts to boys and girls in the towns of El Hatillo, La Aurora and La Loma, in the municipalities of La Jagua, Chiriguana, and El Paso, as part of the campaign, “Give a gift, Make a Heart Glad, and Receive a Smile.”

“Give a Gift, Make a Heart Glad, and Receive a Smile.”

More than 900 boys and girls smiled this Christmas thanks to donations from our employees at the Mining Operations and the Bogota office. This initiative also had an impact on Guacamayal, Magdalena, where 200 children received a Christmas gift thanks to contributions from employees at Puerto Drummond.

During the day of activities, the children in Guacamayal enjoyed face painting, snacks, raffles, and a visit by Santa Claus.
