YEAR 9/10 CAMP Notes went home yesterday regarding the Year 9/10 camp to Wilmington in the lower Flinders Ranges from Tuesday 27 th to Friday 30 th August (week 6). Students have a bit of work to do in the lead-up to camp, including working together to plan, budget and shop for their menu plus organising ‘who’s got what’ tent and camping equipment between their groups. Chaplain’s Corner by Mrs Veronica Raams This term started with me attending two conferences in the first week. They were both so good! I grew a lot and feel refreshed and ready to start the second half of the year with new enthusiasm and looking at life through a new lens. I was also taught how important it is to look after myself so I can serve others better. Sometimes we forget that, especially as parents we give and give! In Follow Jesus we’re talking about the importance of reading our Bibles. This is also a way to keep close to God and rest in Him.
