Home Learning Grid
11th May
Home Learning tasks are set as ‘assignments’ on the Subject Google Classrooms on Mondays, by 8.30am. To help structure your day, try to follow the ‘Daily Schedule’ with 20 hours of home learning per week. Complete the work you have been set for the subjects you study in the following order:
1. English, Maths, Science
2. History/ Geography, Languages
3. Other subjects
Art, Core PE, Dance, Music tasks can be completed in the ‘Creative/ Active’ time slots on the daily schedule. From this week, your teachers have recorded voice overs for some of your work using PowerPoint. If there is a PowerPoint attached, make sure you download it to hear their explanations and feedback.

1. As you have now completed your planning and the first three sections of your brochure. Please continue to create your brochure. You need to include the following when doing your brochure: 1. French All work is set on the Google Classroom for yr 10 French.
1. Complete the extended writing as set by Miss Kelly. I have reposted the tasks, this week’s task is clearly dated. This is the second week of the extended writing task.
2. Watch, learn and enjoy the 2 lessons led by our United Learning French specialist. Please take careful notes. The lessons are on the hub, you should log in using your normal school login details. The link is on google classroom.
3. Complete the retrieval exercises set on Activelearn. The 20Qs is set on this work so pay careful attention to the vocabulary. The link is on google classroom.
4. Complete your 20Q quiz set on Friday this week as usual.
All of this work is retrieval and revision of topics that have been covered before. I have chosen this as it offers excellent consolidation of previous knowledge.

Throughout the week the PE department will post challenges on google classroom and on Twitter. We would like you to have a go at the challenges. You are allowed to adapt them if needed [you can make them more or less difficult]. Add your results on the google form and if you want to you can share a video of your efforts.
