FOR BETTER PICTURES

o For better color pictures, shoot in soft, diffused light.o When the YELLOW arrow is ON, use a t r ipod (also wi th B and Sel f -Timer).o When the main subject is the point of interest, use the largest aperture suited for

the prevail ing l ight. lf a greater depth of f ield is required, stop down the apertureas necessary.

o When it is necessary to stop action in outdoor photography, turn the ApertureRing to where the RED arrow just disappears. At this point, the shutter speed isabout 1/500 sec.

r When photographing spot,l ighted subjects or against l ight, reset the ASA FilmSpeed Setting Ring.Example w i th AsA 100 f i lm:(a) Strong spot-lighted - reset to ASA 200400.(b) Against t ight - reset to ASA 50 or 25.

o The use of an ND fi lter when shooting in blazing sunlight, snow or beach scenesis recommended.Reset the ASA Fllm Speed Setting Ring according to fi l ter factor.

o For night photography, WITHOUT FLASH, set the Exposure Control Ring at theAUTO posi t ion and the ApertureRing s1 the INDOORS (window) symbol. ln al lcases, the shutter speed wil l be determined and set AUTOMATICALLY.However, when shooting with the YELLOW arrow ON, use a tripod.
