a humble beginning

Trident Yarn (formerly Abhishek Yarns) had a modest beginning in 1993 with just 17,300 spindles at

Barnala (Punjab), under a highly competitive environment with established players in the industry.

For the company, it was a challenge that had to be met. Today, the company can boast of being one

of the eminent manufacturers and suppliers of high performance knitting and weaving yarns. With a

clearly defined customer centric approach, we have achieved a reputation of being one of the

dominant players in the domestic and international markets in a short period of time.

Since 1993, the company has come a long way. Presently with 3,65,904 Ring spindles, 29,184

Melange Ring spindles, 3584 Rotors and 3200 Doubling Spindles (TFO). At Sanghera, Trident

Limited has the largest spinning installation in one campus in India. The growth story continues as

the company is all set to increase the yarn production capacity to 5,00,352 spindles & 5,624 rotors

with expansion plans in place.

spindles for producing 5,840 MT of yarn per annum. It

has state-of-the-art fibre dyeing plant with capacity of

1,600 MT/Annum and is equipped with latest

generation tuft blending & spinning machines &

equipments to produce Mélange Yarn of international

quality (1% to 95% fiber dyed). Technology coupled

with set-up flexibility not only replicates shades &

Melange effect from sampling to bulk with fine

precision, but also provides resilience to the process
