1) Choose ons of the 12 rhythm sel~~tetor bunoll$ and

depress it. YoJ can also combine rhythms to achieve i nteresting and var~ed effects by pushing several buttons in any hOI'izontal combination simultaneotlsly. (However. it is not possible to obtain compound rhythms by pressing both buttons in any one vertical combination.)
