This past weekend Parry Sound, Ontario, was host to Rounds 5
and 6 of the WECs Royal Distributing Canadian Enduro Championship
series, presented by Parts Canada. Coming into the second half of the
series, Team Yamaha/Machine Racing Off Road had some high expecta-tions for their E2 riders, Brian Wojo Wojnarowski and Adam Cheese-
burger Millson. The two riders have been putting in tremendous effort
to prepare for competition on home turf after a respectable nish out
west.
Joining the boys for the eastern rounds was supposed to be well
known motocross personality Ryan Gauld who would contest the E1
class aboard a YZ250f. After a short run and a hard collision with a rock,
Ryan Gaulds career as an off road rider was cut short when his chainguide was sheared off on a rock.
Saturday went well for Wojo, who did what had previously been
thought impossible: he knocked the leader off the top spot of the E2 po-
dium. Wojo won the E2 class Saturday, forcing Hondas Jason Schrage to
settle for 2nd place. Wojo nished 2nd overall on the day.
Adam Millson, a crowd favourite for his style and nesse in Pen-
tiction, was no less popular at home. While many Pro riders jumped the
double logs, Millson did it with a are and enthusiasm that had the crowd
cheering for the Blue 22. Millson nished 5th in E2, good enough for an
8th overall on the day.

Round 6 had a new target for Wojo. He knew he could beat
Jason Schrage now, and he had proven in the past he could beat Guy
Giroux; he wanted the overall win. Finishing rst in Pro this round
would give him the top spot on the weekend. Things didnt go quite
as planned and the weather deteriorated badly. Wojo, no stranger or
shrinking violet when it comes to bad weather, soldiered on, but so
did Guy and so did Schrage and KTMs Geoff Nelson. Wojo n-ished 2nd in E2, and 4th overall.
Adam Millson continued to put down strong test times but
simply couldnt match the faster guys. For his rookie Pro season,
however, the Ponty Pool native is doing well. Round 6 saw him n-
ish further back than the previous round, 7th in E2 and 11th overall
on the day.
The boys nished 3rd (Wojo) and 9th (Millson) overall on the
weekend, both qualifying for the Pro payout on Sunday.
Next weekend the boys travel to La Belle, Quebec for the
nal two rounds.
Wojo and Millson would like to thank their sponsors: Yamaha
Canada, Machine Racing and John Nelson, Mark at LGS Suspension
Development and Podium Grax. Wojo would also like to thank Or-thoex, Electrosport, PerformX Motocross Training, Bondi Engines
and Trail Tours.
