Cool Time 1 is the first book in a three-level series for teenagestudents of English written to help students learn English throughexperience, reflection and practice, in situations related to theirinterests and needs. The book is divided into five units. Each unit isdivided into two sections (A and B) and has 6 lessons.

Each lesson includes an activity that will give students the opportunityto be exposed to the language they are going to learn, experience it,construct meaning, reflect anddiscover how it works. Later, throughdifferent types of controlled andfreer practice activities, studentswill have the chance to try thelanguage and use it for theirown purposes.

On the following pages, in thesection called Learn aboutyour book, you will find detailedinformation about the differentsections included in the book and their features.

Your support and guidance whilestudents work on the differentsections of the book will be veryimportant in order to help themmake use of their textbook.
