Mahindra First Choice Services Ltd. (MFCSL), the well-known pan-India chain of multi-brand car and two-wheelerservice workshops, part of the Mahindra Group, announced a plan to integrate its operations with TVS AutomobileSolutions (P) Ltd., (TVS ASPL), leading independent automotive aftermarket player.

As part of the transaction,Mahindra and Mahindra Ltd.will secure a stake in TVS ASPLand in turn, MFCSL willbecome a subsidiary of TVSASPL. The transaction issubject to regulatoryapprovals, including anapproval from the CompetitionCommission of India (CCI).

Apollo Tyres introduces new XT-100HD tyre for CVs
Leading home-grown tyre maker Apollo Tyres hasintroduced a new tyre for commercial vehicles, the XT-100HD, an advanced cross-ply lug tyre that offers thebest of both load carrying capacity and mileage whileensuring the most durable casing in the industry.
The replacement market in India is still going strong oncross ply tyres, with almost a 50:50 split between radialand cross ply. Apollo Tyres has introduced thistechnologically advanced product to carry moderateloads in regional haulage and mixed applications in thedrive position.

The tyre comes with a heavy-duty casing with a newhigh strength nylon fabric that offers the best in classload carrying capacity. The durability has also beenenhanced with the new heat ageing resistantcompound and tyre cavity (HEART) technology.

In eight months, 116 electric buses were registered inPoland, marking a 197% increase compared to 2019.
