This year, two SMU students, Anirban Datta Gupta and Bhavya Khanna, joined forces and clinched the top spot! How does it feel to emerge as winners? Anirban: When w e made it through to the finals, we were admittedly a little shaky. All the teams were really good and we even knew some of the competitors from SIM and SMU But I enjoyed the adrenaline rush! Bhavya: It feels great to finally win a quiz after taking part in competitions since the age of 10. I knew that we would win by the second last question. Bhavya: I have always enjoyed travelling and Anirban: Basically, I am a debater who is exploring new places. With the cash prize, I hope interested in current affairs. I thlnk of mvself as to tour Euro~e! a 'people person'. I like to keep in touchkith what is going on in the world. I enjoy playing tennis and gaming and I love experimenting with food. I'm into rock music from the likes of U2 and Led Zeppelin. Bhavye: Generally. I am a confrontat~onal person. My interests range from movies, jogging, reading, to playing with bubble wrap when I am stressed. I also spend time outside of school coaching school debating teams. In terms of music, I like Hindi music and rock music, just like Anirban. Last but not least, I love trying out new cuisines. How would you spend your grand prize of St7,000? Anirban: I hope to spend the money enjoying

How does it feel to emerge as winners? Anirban: When we made it through to the finals, we were admittedly a little shaky.
