I also look forward to seeing parents during the Wyndham Learning Festival Event running from the 1st September – 8th September across Wyndham. Our Special Party in the Precinctwill be happening again this year at 1.30pm on the 4 th September at the Wyndham Park Community Centre. As always there will be prize hampers on offer for those families that attend and go in the draw. 56 LC Intensive Swimming Program Our Intensive-swimming program begins on Monday 16th September and goes for one week (4 days in total). Further details of this program will be sent out shortly. Parent Opinion Survey The Parent Opinion Survey has been shared with the randomly selected parents in August. It is completed annually by the Department of Education and Training and is conducted amongst a sample of randomly selected parents at every school in Victoria. All responses to the survey are anonymous. The survey helps our school gain an understanding of how you view our school climate, student engagement, and relationships. Our school will use these results to inform school planning and improvement strategies. Robotics Team Our grade 56 robotics team recently competed against 17 local schools in the Wyndham Schools R.E.A.L Robotics competition at Encore Events Centre. As always our amazing students represented our school wonderfully and demonstrated our school values of Safety, Respect and Responsibility. This year they won the Robotic Game competition with a score of 142 points, this is an amazing score and we congratulate them on this achievement. They are now preparing for the next regional competition in November. Thank you to Ms Krupashankar and Mr Kunoo for coaching this team and good luck in November. Kind regards, Laban Toose Principal
