vulnerabilities.

Wycliffe House can support those with associated past or present drug and alcohol addictions. In addition to a diagnosis of a neurological condition and addiction, service users may present with cognitive impairments, communication disorders and behaviours that challenge.Wycliffe House is able to admit service users who lack capacity to consent to treatment under a DoLS. Our service seeks to engage service users through a highly empathic and non-judgemental approach.

At Wycliffe House we recognise that addiction affects every aspect of the individual’s life and therefore seek external support for treatment programmes which focus not only on the addiction itself, but other dimensions of the individual’s life including family role, work skills, and mental health.
