Stair Layouts

Based on many years of experience work-ing with architects, quantity surveyors andbuilders, we have tabulated many of themost popular staircase configurationswhich can be specified with a simple cod-ing system.

20 preferred layouts have been recordedon the following pages, together with thecritical dimensions relevant to each layout,including the trimming dimension neces-sary to obtain headroom clearance.

These calculations are based on a total riseof 2588mm, 226mm Go – 13 Up, but byreferring to the table below adjustments are possible to suit varying site conditions.

From the coding and dimensions, a quota-tion can be produced after which a full on-site survey can be undertaken if required,with detailed dimensioned drawings provid-ed as a matter of course.

An addition to the stair layout shown, thereis a huge selection of made-to-measureoptions, plus other timber options such asAsh, Oak and Beech.
