History
Founded in 1988 as the first Aerospace Engineering Department in the country.
More than 1157 graduates since 1988 in various fields
of Aerospace engineering in levels of BSc, MSc and PhD.
our graduates play prominent roles in leading industries and governmental institutions.

The number of students currently studying in different fields of this department are:
237 B.Sc. students,
135 M.Sc. students, and 79 Ph.D. students.
Department started its E-learning system by admitted 30 under graduate in February 2013, through an entrance national exam.

We were the first in country to obtain the permission from the ministry of science, Research and technology of Iran in 2007 to establish a center of excellence in Aerospace, with the title of “Center of excellence in computational Aerospace Engineering”.
