Columbus ESA training for ground operators is organized with classroom lessons at Cologne and Munich

This provides a possibility for setting up contacts with other sites’ operators

Arranging suitable dates for many operators is not easy and sometimes long waiting lists are required

Columbus did not require to build up the whole team in a short time as ExoMars

ExoMars training should be efficient to assemble a full team in time for a condensed mission

First training phases may overlap with last payload development stages

Operators may have limited booking time for training during this period

Many theoretical lessons may be delivered using an e-learning infrastructure

This allows on-demand delivery removing location and timing contraints
